For cellophane and bows/ribbon you could look in Hobbycraft - do you have one near you? http://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/STOR_MAP/INTRO.htm. I've bought mine from Flower Hour on ebay but I'm pretty sure Hobbycraft sell them.

    rainmac fab hampers!
I might use some of your ideas for my brother's 40th which means 40 of everything! It's not till january 2010 so I have a while to plan it.
I am making a Doctor Who themed basket for my two. I am just waiting for a couple of books then I think I will put it together. I might even have it done in time to send back with my parents which is where we are spending Christmas. I too wanted to get things that went together and not just get odd things.

Thanks bunbun!!! My dad is 65 next year so I want to do a similar thing for his birthday. You can get the '30' playing cards for '40' also (got some for my friends birthday earlier in the year). I think they were in Home Bargains for 49p a pack a while ago but I couldn't find any so ended up getting them from ebay.

Flower hour also have an online store which is seperate from ebay https://www.flowerhour.co.uk Maybe if you don't have a debit card then you could pay cash to someone and order it on their card?

Well you guys have inspired me and I made a little hamper for my daughter. At the moment I have misplaced my memory card lol but when I find it again I will post a picture.

Can I post my picture here or on the picture thread?

    :)

I was thinkin of making my parents mum+dad hampers aswell as there normal self hampers?

But what could i include that would be good for them both?

My thoughts were a cup that says mum , a cup that says dad , both filled with tea bags with a tea spoon? But thats all i can think of?
My mum loves sweet things , dad love savoury things , mum hates beer , dad loves beer , dad like being active mum likes chilling out?

    Very different lol:eek:

Could you do an opposites box and make a sign for the front saying "Opposite attract". Then you could make it a joint box, with things your mum likes on one side and things that your dad likes on the other.
