Also would like to do a il divo mothers day hamper for my mum. trouble is she is such a fan she has all the cds, dvds books..
So far I have a keyring and a disc coming with photos of their Dublin concert coming. Does anybody else have any other ideas what else I could put in..

I have found that Dunelm Mill are very good for baskets, and there are several sellers on Ebay for the cellophane rolls.

Both hampers are fantastic flourgirl. I have to say though(being a girly girl) that I just love the pink one. It's soft, fluffy and dreamy. They're going to be loved.

It's a while away yet, but never too early to plan! My friend's birthday is in mid-April and she will be 15. I want to make her a basket but not sure what I could give her?

She's not really a girly girl so although I could include a few bath products it's not really her. She does like chocolate/sweets but not loads. She loves music and is constantly listening to it but has all the CDs etc she wants. She also enjoys drawing and watching anime, etc. Any ideas please? :)

JaneLiz, am I right thinking that anime is Japanense? How about a Japanese inspired gift basket? Reckon you might be able to get a 'how to draw anime' type book amongst other things?

Many thanks for everyone's kind comments, it's much appreciated. Vics .x.

  • I'm so excited, I finished my first hamper yesterday! I'm a bit rubbish when it comes to creativeness and it's not the best but I'm still quite pleased with it! It's for my best friend's mum's 50th birthday and I went for a red theme - bubble bath, shower gel, chocs, wine and a lovely scarf. I'm really pleased with it and can't wait to give her it!

Anyways the whole point of this thread is to say thank you to everyone on this site for your inspiration via pictures and great ideas. And a special thanks to those in particular who helped me with my mother's day hamper - it's almost finished and it's looking fab (if I say so myself!)

Anyways, I'm addicted because of you guys now! I won't say how many days of uni I've missed this week because I went shopping instead! But for once, I'm looking around for bargains instead of paying silly money!

I've drafted up a list of birthdays and special occasions coming up and what hampers I could theme for them all!

Sorry for such a long post, I just wanted to say thanks! And I'll no doubt be calling on you guys for help soon!
