Hey Guys,
My gran was thrilled with her hamper so much so she looked as though she might cry. None of her children made any effort like she thought they would. It appears that only I made the effort.
Unfortuantly I have not got a picture as my camera was not working.
Well done Zoe :T , I know you were having problems with what to give her, so I am so glad that it was well received. It makes all the effort doing it, well worth it.2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -
Thanks CT I was happy that she liked it. Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.0

I need ideas for my Bro's birthday (next week:eek: ) Normally I've got that ready a lot earlier as his birthday is close after my ex's but now I don't have that reminder
) it's snuck up on me unannounced!
He likes going to the theatre (I thought theatre tokens as a last resort but think it looks unimaginative) and loves studying History (got his degree as a mature student 2 yrs ago) I know he plays chess/belongs to a chess club and works voluntarily at local theatre (so can get in to see plays free/cheaper, hence theatre tokens not being best idea)
Apart from a bottle of red wine (already got from a pre-xmas trip to Calais) I'm at a loss!!
Any ideas?0 -
Thanks millie2008* This is the problem i have the nearest pouund store is around 18 miles away lol (Kinda living in the sticks) So i would be paying more in petrol trying to get there.... I have seen some really nice one's on here and cant beleive how cheap they can be done for.... So do you think it would look unprofessional if i use a nice bag or even a birthday gift box that sort of thing??? Thanks for the great advice peeps xFuture goals:

Why not use a box and cover it with appropriate gift wrap? May be more MSEand you can use the exact size you need rather than trying to fit stuff into a gift box? Nothing wrong with a gift box, or gift bag, I hasten to add
Just I think it looks more personal and that that you've given it some thought0 -
