Your basket is beautiful... I am very impressed. Do you mind me asking how you make the 'rose' type bow please?
Yes I love the ribbon and bows too they look beautiful.0 -
Lovely 18th hamper:T Really classy looking!
Thankfully I haven't got to buy any baskets this year..........I've two left over from last year and three I'd bought from charity shop plus three hat boxes so I'll use them. They've been hanging around for ages........got them from charity shop as they were so cheap and pretty and never have used them for anything. At least they'll have a use now.
Must get my head organised and tidy up my notebook of scribbled down lists of stuff to makeMary

This was my best friends: Leave in conditioner was about £11, the rest was from pinkies and three for 2 gifts:

Im pretty sure you could make one with the ribbon though, just do a running stitch along the bottom of the ribbon and gather it in from the middle, folding it as you go and voila a rose!! (Sounds easy but goodness knows what mess I would create - the theory is sound though LOL).:rotfl:You can stand there and agonize........

Rusty - loving your hamper and the bow is really impressive - goodness knows how you did that - must've been really fiddly!!
Hi everyone else - I've just got home after visiting a friend yesterday and staying over - having to chuckle to myself now cos you remember I was desperate for a jar of the limited edition champagne marmite for my OH valentine hamper? and every time I looked on ebay the cheapest they were going for was about £6 and I didn't want to pay that - well anyway before I went to my friends I left low bids of 99p on a couple (not thinking in a million years that I'd win either & I've won both of them!!! Postage was £2.75 so total price £3.74 LOL!! There was me worrying I wouldn't get one and now I'm gonna have two!!! Anyway really don't think OH needs two so if anyone would like one just pm me.
Have bought some bargains over the last few days in the sales and will post details later - gotta dash now!! Please can someone scold me though cos I really must NOT go anywhere near the sales again - they are so tempting as there are such bargains but seriously I have got heaps of stuff for pressies and hampers etc and don't need to buy anything for a while! Gonna go and check out the bits I've got for OH valentine hamper - haven't laid them all out yet and there might be too much!! Got a bit carried away as I want to show him how much I appreciate everything he does as he's been working sooooo hard so that I don't have to work!!!0 -
