Want to do a learner driver hamper for a friend's daughter who will be 17 in a couple of months, so any ideas as to what else I could put in it. I've thought of:

    Highway code book/theory book
    L plates/P plates
Application for a provisional driving licence

    Thanks
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

How about furry dice, a fancy air freshener, 'princess on board' sign, a local A-Z?
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

Superdrug had some car stuff in their sale today. Didn't look too closely, but think one was a 'babe on board' set, and one had a mini car vacuum.
How about some calming stuff-natracalm/bachs rescue stuff (Boots sale!)?
Thermos/rug/torch to keep in her car?

Rusty, think your OH should be on Krypton factor LOL, send him round here, that's the one bit I hate about hampers is the packing of. He's done that so well. It's a lovely hamper, all snuggy and cosy, I'd love one like that. I think mama mia is a fantastic film.

    Thankyou all :)

Soblivion OH said the krypton factor is a breeze ;)

But then OH is one of these annoying people who can work out sums and problems within seconds

I know it sounds silly but I know when I passed my test every single day I was out washing my car :) ... put in some car wash stuff and a sponge, screen wipes de icer etc ... it will bulk out the hamper no end ;) and is also fairly cheap. (look in wilkos I have just got loads of things like that for my SIL's 18th in feb)

I think Asda also had some girly cleaning things before all the xmas stock filled up the shops, so might be coming back in stores now. If she likes pink, you can loads of pink car stuff.
I was like that when I first got my bike. Novelty worn off now, though as Ive realised it's still cleaning...

I've seen the stuff that Ruth_honey mentioned in Asda...there's loads of pink stuff including sponges, screen wash etc. If you want I have a pink car set thing in a clear zip bag, has a sponge tax disc holder etc. You are most welcome to it as I bought it in a sale a couple of years ago. PM me if you'd like it and I can send you a pic so you can see wht it looks like.

    Sorry for the rambling!
