    Beautiful hampers all of you:T
Just given my last one out to ex foster girl..........she was over the moon ! I tried to wrap the cello round so she couldn't see too clearly what was inside......just enough to intrigue her.

For her OH I did a loo roll, reindeer head, retro sweet box and book - 'don't get me started on that'............he;s always having a rant over something, same as my OH(got him same book........lol) and a racing car money box.

Total cost for him was about £7

I've really loved doing all of this...........my first year and not my last by no means...................have a lovely christmas all...........its well deserved

    :beer:Hampers are fantastic everybody!

All the people i done hampers for were amazed!

Especially my godson and his brothers

My godson pulled things out one by one , and was grinning ear to ear as he showed his daddy what he had , he especially liked his underground earnie talking train and fire man sam painting boards.

    Merry christmas everybody!

Thanks to all the tips on here, my baskets went down a storm although they wouldn't open them straight away as they were scared to mess them up!lol
You may walk and you may run
You leave your footprints all around the sun
And every time the storm and the soul wars come
    You just keep on walking

Here here poppy, my hampers went down a treat, everyone was pleased with the effort I put in. My daughter was excited at first but her excitment trailed off a bit although she does keep going back to it to use things in it. I think the thing she likes the most is the body glitter, she is more sparkly than the christmas decs lol.
 Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.
  • Hi everyone, I made hampers for the first time this year and they went down well, the feedback that I got was "what a good idea, they are more personal, think I will do hampers next year".

Well all you lovely people, sorry for not posting before the big day, but I was having some "quality time" with OH. I hope you have had a lovely Christmas and that all your hard work was appreciated.

Once again "Thank you" for all your help, ideas and advice. Everything that I have made has been well received and people were touched at the thought and effort that had gone into everything. :T

Candy bouquets for staff at work - all loved them and thought they were much better than the tin of biscuits/roses etc that they normally get

Snowman soup - couldn't believe they were homemade and not shop bought :rotfl:

And as for the hampers - OHs daughters couldn't wait to open them - eldest pulled everything out while youngest didn't want to as she thought it looked so nice! OHs mum loved her hamper and towel cake.

Off down to Kent to see daughter and sisters tonight - lets hope they like theirs as much.

Happy New Year to you all xx

lovely to read that your hampers were such a success everyone. I only did the ice cream hamper but my son was so chuffed with it.
Hope you all had a great Christmas.
