I confess.......I still think he's quite dishy. Shift a stone, little bit of sport and he could become a model for M + S.
They are thinking of slashing the celeb ad budget.
He could gazunder Bryan Ferrys ad rates.0 -
He says and I quote ' Nobody can know how long this is all going to take to turn around and we should be highly speculative of anyone who claims to be able to do so'
And then goes on to make very specific predictions on when the market is going to turn around !!.
I'm highly speculative.
Stevie, you seem to be passing from Denial to Anger. What's wrong with house prices dropping anyway ?. People who can afford the mortgage will be ok and if they can't they would have lost the house sooner or later.
People shouldn't rely on capital gain to bail them out, that's a gamble and sometimes you lose. A xDon't believe everything you think.
Blessed are the cracked...for they are the ones who let in the light. A x0 -

Why do you think I have a problem with house prices, is it because I don't agree that they are going to fall 70% or is it because I am unimpressed with the !!!!!! post of one man and his dog having to close down? What was it described as HIS EMPIRE.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. I quite like Knutsford... the olde-style run of shops in the town, and Tatton Park... but I'm hearing a few stories of businesses closing there recently, although can't fully confirm if entirely true.
In today's Daily Mail.As he explained: "The correction in the housing market continues to unfold with unprecedented speed."At Garrington, our best guess is that prices have another 10 per cent to 15pc to fall, but that the market should have stabilised towards the end of 2009.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1083320/State-housing-market-set-worsen-warn-experts-Government-guarantees-mortgages.htmlThe crisis affecting the housing market is 'without precedent' and there is 'no knowing' how far prices will fall without intervention, Michael Ball, Professor of urban and property economics at the University of Reading said.
He warned that as more homeowners were forced to sell, they would increasingly need to cut their price, and even then many would not find buyers due to the current mortgage lending constraints.0
