549 is a bit much especially if you dont want the games.

I have placed and argos order and rang to confirm. All seemed like it will go through ok by what the lady told me on the phone.

My Argos orders gone a bit wild.... apparently I have 4 full systems on the way! I ordered a couple, one for myself and one for a friend then realised that I had put my delivery work address as the card holders address which obviously is not the case, even though the order was accepted. SO, Argos will either cancel a couple as the card address details will not be correct on a couple & I'll only receive the two I did do correctly, OR they'll all go through and I'll end up with 4 consoles!? Dont know whether to laugh or cry

Just rang Argos - to quote the lady "they are definitely in stock and your's will be delivered on Friday 6th

Looking good, I don't know why I am getting so excited about it, it might be a case of the (rather long) chase being better than the catch....

Hope this is umpteenth time lucky for me, lol. Got email/order number and just called Argos to check, bloke says they are still available to order in my area so my order should be ok. My delivery is not until Tuesday though which was the earliest, so I hope nothing goes wrong before then

when did u order 23rd, i was promised this delivery time Thursday 29th December 2005, 8am - 6pm

I better get it this week or i will cancel, and Argos would of made 14 days interest on £285 by friday :mad: :mad:

I was about to order one from Argos, then found out the 360 doesn't play my own video files without a Windows MCE PC. I was going to buy one as a replacement for my *ahem* upgraded Xbox but I don't see the point now. I know its all about Hi-Def games and video shouldn't concern me, but a 3 dual-core processor device that won't play my videos.....?

just ordered mine got ad number ,, says delivery friday.. phoned them and shy said definitely in stock and will be there friday,,,did here giggling in background though. thanks to everyone who said they were in stock .
