I can confirm that at the last minute Argos say they are out of stock...

And victory seemed so close.

Yes, same here. Their system always works like this on days when they get stock in.

As previously, still in stock for certain postcodes. So still worth trying. Nothing to lose really

NickA, I am in the same boat as paullj and charlie12, and I have no doubt that we will be joined by many MANY more XBox 360 seekers on a cruise to nowhere!

But that can be classed as cruelty to animals in this PC world (no, not the PC shop, I mean Politicaly Correct world) so I went with HHH. But even so, HHH probably offends someone somewhere! Soon you won't be able to breathe!!!

Hi, Just thought i would let you all know Game stores are getting a few Core systems in now.. I walked in to my local store (Crawley) today and picked one up for £210! (No forced Bundle just the console) Some stores say the full system's arn't going to be around till March!!

I also heard Woking got 3 today aswell!

I got my Premium from Game last week, after only just missing out on it at Toys R Us. To all those that are sick of trying the Argos site, I think there are more 360s in the shops than people realise. If you see someone mention that a certain store in their area has 360s in, phone your local branch.

My hunch is that when they get a shipment they send a few to each retailer (Toys R Us were getting small deliveries by courier every couple of days). This may be more fruitful than constantly checking the Argos system, which may in any case tell you you've got one when in fact you haven't!

I spoke to someone at Toyrus who said they got an allocation of 6 a day.I am not sure if that was 6 core and 6 premium.
It annoys me that they sell them in bundles
