If anyone is still needing one in the Yorkshire Area give Argos a call - I've just cancelled my premium order that I placed yesterday as m8 can't afford.

Was toying with the idea of Ebay but for the sake of £20-£50 profit it ain't worth the stress.

thanks for this, i popped into thurrock toys r us yesterday morning, and you were right there was one ticket left, so i walked up tot the till , not getting too excited and said in an expectant way " is this a mistake?" and they said no, and processed my order.

It's just the way their stock system works. It's been discussed on these threads before.

When they get new stock in and it's added to the system it will show as "in stock" but the stock is allocated to preorders and then it goes out of stock again.

This is true, just checked my account with Play.com and my pre-order still has not been fulfilled so unlikely they will sell to new customers without sorting out the back log first.
The only stocking consoles at the minute online appear to be Dixons & Currys at ridiculous package prices.

They do show as in stock and it can be added to basket but it's at the end of the checkout process it tells you it's out of stock!
This was the case previously and I'm sure it's the same now.Can anyone confirm?
