Got my premium pack from Game on Saturday, obviously with a forced bundle of 3 games for £410

Took two of the games back for a refund today and the manager flatly refused until i showed him a printed out copy of their return policy, once he glanced over it he litterly threw it on the desk and barked at the checkout person to do the refund :)

I know it shouldn't but it's made my day to get one back for the consumer from the way Game has treated its customers over the bundles, the people with money to burn kids had a good xmas with a 360 but average joe who couldn't afford their silly packages didn't. Totaly unfair if you ask me!

In defence I was not forced to buy a bundle, I was just asked if I wanted anything else, I said no thanks just the console, and that was that.

Some people might find this site useful , it has been getting some good feedback and helped a few people pick up 360's.

I'm going to wait until those nice people at choices sort out my pre order from October, I've got consumer burnout after christmas and can't be bothered to hunt around for a 360 , good luck to those still hunting

Toysrus at Lakeside Retail park had 1 premium(£429.00) and a few core bundles left at 5.45pm they shut a 6pm.We resisted as ds doesnt want a bundle .The manager said they are putting out 6 a day.We found a ticket hidden amongst the game tickets below.

Then don't shop in Game again, and tell all your friends and relations not to either. Until they realise that the customer comes first they will always treat people like this.

Already done that, I was at game on the date of release when they tried to sell you a core system and 3 games for £450 i refused.

I only bought this system as I was armed with their return policy to try and make a stand for joe public and play them at their own game. Which felt really good actually :)

I shall never set foot in another game store in my life and as far as a lot of my friends are concerned on the same subject nor will they!

Microsoft Ships Far Fewer Xbox 360 Consoles than Expected

"Back before Microsoft's blockbuster Xbox 360 console became available,
analysts expected the software giant to ship up to 2 million consoles
to retail stores by the end of 2005. But Microsoft didn't make as many
consoles as originally expected. And if you don't have product to sell,
people can't buy it. According to reports, Microsoft made as few as 1.2
million Xbox 360 consoles--and just 700,000 to 800,000 for the US
market--in time for the holidays. That's a tiny number for a company
that could have sold five times that many if they'd been available. If
Xbox 360 gets off to a bad start, as it arguably has, its early-to-
market advantage over Sony's upcoming PlayStation 3 simply vanishes.
And next year, when Sony ships the PS3, Sony could dominate the market
again, as it does now. I'm eager to hear an inside account about what
exactly happened to make the Xbox 360 so difficult to manufacture in
volume. It's not as though Microsoft and its suppliers were surprised
to discover they had to actually make these things on a schedule."

The PS3 reportedly, isn't due out in Europe until Q3/Q4, so quite a bit of time for more units to be made.

I'm personally gonna wait until v1.1 of the Xbox 360 is out, hopefully the market will become a little more flooded with them and all those eBayer's will get caught out, may even be able to get one a little cheaper than normal.

Good luck. I hope they honour your order, unlike mine. I wonder if all the people they let down have been sorted out before they've started claiming to have more on sale.
