The Great DS Lite hunt

Just found out today that the DS I'd ordered on the 17th Nov from Additions with a delivery date of 16th Dec and £30 off is no longer available in any colours. Will contact me in next "few days" to give another proposed delivery date but definately not before christmas
Can't understand how they can take your order and give a delivery date when they don't have the stock. Surely there should be some way of recompence!!!!!

Game in Bath, opposite M & S had DS lites today. Choice of colours as well.

We had a similar issue with Studio last Christmas when buying a Wii. My Other half went barmy, even went to see our MP who wrote them a stroppy letter. Result, eventually was a £50 voucher

Exeter Argos (one in city centre) had a poster up today stating they had DS in stock, all colours avaliable. They were available on their own or part of a package.

Just browsing on Amazon and they have a red DS for £97.84 or £115.73 with Brain Training. They probably have other colours/deals too, but haven't checked.

So now the hubbub of Xmas is over, does anyone know of any good DS lite bargains? Hoping to find one for less than £90....

Not sure it will make much difference. I bought ones in August and October, same deals were about. Price may change when new console is released.

i guess so....i just don't want to wait that long! was hoping some amazing deals would be around in the Jan sales, but not really found anything....

Has anybody seen any good deals for recently and also a recommendation for a game for a 7 year old boy - many thanks. Also is it a good idea to buy these sort of things at the airport or not?
