Gahhhh, don't tell me this! I have been searching for a red one for weeks and weeks now without the big brain academy game (why are they only bundling it with this!!??). I finally bit the bullet today and decided I wouldn't get any other deal, so ordered that bundle from Tesco Direct for £104.99 (using the £10 off voucher readily available). According the website, the status has changed to "In warehouse, awaiting dispatch". They have taken the money and I am supposed to collect it from my local tesco tomorrow after 4pm.

Does this mean they don't actually have any?

They sent me a text this morning saying that my delivery is delayed slightly, and that it will be available on Thursday now instead. Its not filling me full of confidence, I have to say.....

Hit the High Street this morning-Tesco Extra,Zavvi, Game(x2)WHSmiths,Curry's Digital,HMV,Woolworths,Gamestation,Debenhams(Game)-they either had no stock(& couldn't tell me when they'd have any!)or nothing under the £130 mark, all except WHSmiths, that is! Got the last one!!! Pink one(no extras)for £97 summat!:j :j :j

Annoyed I couldn't get anything in Tescos-could've had a free game & used my vouchers, but I haven't seen any in there for months & they couldn't tell me when they'd be getting anymore,so...

Must put my blinkers on incase any deals come up & if they do, la la la...I'm not listening!!!!!:p

PS-Zavvi have DS Guitar Hero Limited Edition advertised at £110, if you can find it in your local store.

HMV have a good deal-Red Big Brain Academy bundle for £99 plus if you pay £15 extra you get a game bundle too-again, if they have it in stock!

    Good luck, guys!:)

They did that to me. First I had an e-mail saying it had been delayed to 3 Dec, then on 2 Dec I had an e-mail saying it was delayed to 10 Dec, and then on 8 Dec they cancelled it.

Well HOPEFULLY (I have everything crossed!) it will be tomorrow. The status has changed to say it is on its way to the store, so......I will probably be on here tomorrow ranting! :rotfl:
  • Don't know if it'll help but I was in Game Stop (in Belfast) today and the manager said he still had consoles and bundles, not in silver or red I think. So might be an idea to try there if you're having trouble.

  • I got my red one from gamestation last friday, they'd just had a delivery of every colour!!! Good bundle as well, the red ds, big brain academy and brain assist for £125.99 less the VAT!!! I also bought extra stylus and screen protector for £2.99 less VAT, quite a bargain i thought!!!

  • I've recently recieved a black ds lite from ebuyer.com and it looks like the fakes that have been discussed over the last few days. It has the small box, barcode on the back and the cheap usb psu that barely fits in the box, so much so it was bulging out when I recieved it. Now ebuyer are a reputable company that I've spent thousands of pounds with over the years and I suppose they will cover the warranty themselves for 1 year instead of nintendo. However, do I trust these cheap black adaptors or return it. As christmas is soon and it's a present, am a bit worried about tracking down another console. Any one else bought a ds lite from ebuyer?
