Managed to get a silver one from Prescot store on saturday so I will be able to return the black one with Mario which I bought just in case!!!

Argos had 55 silver on Friday for home delivery but not sure from which warehouse ( manager showed me screen shot so was more than helpful )

I can't find a non-pink DS console AVAILABLE to buy anywhere online or in shops (Croydon area)..... PLEASE HELP!

I have been trailing around the internet and the High Street for the past few days and have not found any DS console anywhere (as I said, except for some pink Nintendogs bundle consoles, which sadly my 6-year-old boy would not appreciate!!).

For your information, I've tried the following online places:
Game, Gamestation, Gameplay, Amazon, Play.com, John Lewis, M&S, Argos, HMV, Zavvi, Choicesuk, Smyths Toys
And these high street shops:
Game (3 shops), Tesco (2 shops), Gamestation, Argos (2 shops)
I'm new at trying to buy a console - where else should I try?

So please, can anyone locate a suitable boyish type of DS for me to actually buy? Otherwise Father Christmas may well have to go to Plan B and buy the next things down on the Christmas list!

Tesco direct have the turquoise one with cooking guide and you can use the £13 voucher. Not too girly and possibly better than nothing!

I've just had a go at ordering but the XXC7NM code for £13 off isn't working - it says the promotion is over.
So now I have to decide if i want the DS with cooking guide at the £124 price. I suspect I do, but its too late at night for me to make a rational decision now so I'll look into it again tomorrow. Hope I'm not too late by then!

Have you tried WH Smith's(instore) yet? I managed to get one from there in pink, but they sell all the different colours(if they have the stock) Not always the most obvious place people try so you may be in luck!
