  • Hi Pap, hope all goes well with the diet packs. And you don't send us to sleep, its nice to hear from you.
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x
  • Thanks all :hello:

So another mini update from me. I managed to get only the missing 9 packs so came away with just over £20. I have put £5.40 in a christmas gift, spent £1.18 and put some in my savings tin(s). This leaves £12.60 which I will be keping in my purse untill payday with the goal to have some of it left on payday (15th). I have worked out I just have enough bus journeys until payday, it will mean going up with Mum at 6.30am and starting at 9am but what can I do

So here are my spending diary updates ~
    Tuesday 27th ~ £5 debt
    Wednesday 28th ~ £5 debt + 50p pot
    Thursday 29th ~ £3 debt + 78p cabbage + 40p water
    Friday 30th ~ £3.42 debt + 40p xmas gift + £5.00 xmas gift + £1.50 pot

In other news I now only need to save £70 for christmas. I have reviewed it again and removed some of the items I wanted to buy and I also reduced my brother birthday by £10 and my Mums money by £20....

So to afford that I have decided to trade in my Ds console, if they give me a good price. I dont want to, I dont use it much but I do love it. However needs must and maybe when I am out of debt I will save for another  I have games on my touch so I will still be able to play those. I am hoping for about £60 with all the games I have for it. I will take it over on Monday and see what they say :D

Other than that I am still plodding. Homelife isnt going well but alas money dictates that I have to stay here. However I have applied for a new job... and it does have a pay cut :o I know, commonsence says you can't however I may not even have it yet. I will deal with it if/when :D

    Take care all
  • Hello Pap,well done on sorting out the diet packs but sorry you are letting go of your DS.

Hope something sorts itself out regarding your homelife. Take care x.

  • Thanks Pen and Beanie. Its not horendous but I could do without it just now. I am just keeping myself to myself, have been for the whole week and its working. The house looks like a bombs hit it though but as I stay in my room 90% of the time I dont have to look at it :T

Started playing bingo port again today. I have never reached enough points for a voucher before but I thought its free so why not try. I am going to start comping and freebie grabbing soon too, although I want to set up a seperate email address for that. I am guessing that its free, I could prob sell on some of my prizes and also freebies will help because my tolietries box is gradually running down

Re-calcuated my budgets tonight and after house insurance and a cheque (£2 for credit report as I haven't done them for over a year) yet to go out I have £38 left for debt repayments. So thats roughly £2.20 per day PAD which is fab and would take my credit card debt below £200. Looking at Novembers budget I am aiming to PAD around £2~£3 per day if I can afford it. That should leave me about £100 on my credit card :T

Oh and also a huge surprise tonight... Mum has decided she is going to repay Henry :j Basically earlier this year our vaccum went bang and Mum has wanted a Henry for years. So work had a fab deal where I got Henry and 20 bags for £80. So I said I would buy it and payed from my then holiday savings. I asked her if I could have it back for xmas because I would use it for gifts... But she hadnt mentioned it since. Tonight she droped into conversation that 'I need to repay you the Henry money this payday' :j I am not going to budget that money in anywhere untill its in my possession, however if I do I will pay it straight off my debt

I am getting a bit more positive as the week pans on, maybe my monthly had something to do with it

    Keep plodding all :A
  • Hi Pap, haven't dozed off from the wine yet!!

Good news about the Henry. But why don't you compromise. Pay most of it off your debt and keep a little bit back to top up your toiletries or something else nice.

Pen, :rotfl: I am yawning loads here. And I had a nap today which I never do, strange.

I may do just that as its my birthday in December and that budget is leaving me only £10 if that :o Next year I am going to put away £21 a month for my internet so the £63 bill tri-monthly isnt such a struggle. So I was planning to visit town (in the day) and having a bit of retail therapy or go out for a meal so maybe £20 can be put asside for that. As for toiletries its not all too bad I am only running out of shampoo/conditioner, as I am on my last bottles. I tend to bulk buy if something is on offer so I have lots of bubble bath/foamburst/bodyform/toothpaste so its just s&c and mouthwash none of which I buy big name brands so its not too bad :T

Hi pap, the payment a day challenge sounds like a great idea, something to keep you motivated too isn't it. Definitely treat yourself to something lovely for your birthday, you deserve it!!!

    Hey pap

I hope you have had a good day today.

You were doing well on BP last night. You will have enough for a voucher in no time :D.

Definitely give yourself a little treat for your birthday. You deserve it.

    Emily xx
  • Thanks Babes :A I will certainly put some money aside. The PAD challenge has its own thread I did pop in there once but now I do it alone :j

Emily :) I am not doing well tonight. I was up to my highest las night at 7980 and now I am down to 6549... We shall see! Thanks for stopping by...

    Ok so todays spends...
    Saturday 31st ~ £2.41 debt + £1.00 water + 20p tea

I could have done without the water if I am honest but the bottle will be refilled for a few weeks yet. I also found 10p when cleaning my room today so thats a bonus. I took my ds to trade in but they will only give me £60 for the console and 8 games  So I have decided to throw them on ebay in a few days/weeks, some of the games I have I know are going for £15+ so you never know. The only worrying thing is the mail strikes but if I time it right I should be ok...

    Keep plodding all :T
