    Pap hun.
Another way to look at it is that your debt only = a months wages which in the great scheme of things is not a lot.
As you know I so admire your determination.
Have you thought of moving out of retail & into office work Pap?
    Food for thought.
    Keep plodding hun xxx

  • Hi Beanie, yes just over one months wages isnt too bad, except it could take me months to pay it back due to my out goings. However I am not to bothered with that because I want to be of a 'normal' weight rather than be debt free  selfish I know but...

I have always wanted to work in an office rather than retail but I have never been able to get into it. Its one of those things that I have never been able to grasp. Sadly its retail at the moment thats keeping me afloat. I think in the new year I will try and either get an evening job (6~9pm) or try and make another form of income from somewhere. We shall see, I would still like to learn to sign down the line...

Thanks for all your support it means a lot :A

TBH Pap I think you would be great at admin.
You are a whizz on the PC & your typing is fab.
You have a lot of common sence(sp) & you grasp things quickly.
Keep your eyes open for entry level jobs in the NHS or your local council ect.
YOU are not being selfish at all wth your weight loss & dont let anyone tell you different.

Evening Pap, you know you will clear it eventually. I understand how you feel about the dieting - there are a few things I don't want to compromise on unless everything gets really bad. Just keep bashing the debt pound by pound. At least you have a budget to work to, you are sooo organised!
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

Oh & I meant to say really think about the signing.
As you know I am involved with disability issues & there is a great lack of signers & therefore there is oppertunities to make a fair amount of money at it :)
    More to think about it!

  • Babes ~ Defiantly we can do it :j Slowly but surely...

Beanie ~ I will keep looking, the problem is around here generally all admin jobs are found through agencys. I dont really want to sign up to an agency if I can help it. NHS/council is a good way to go though I will keep searching. I have defiantly not forgotten about signing its just the cost, its £240 for level one and £495 for level two. Its going to be one of the many things I will be saving for once I am debt free and off CD. Intake is in October so maybe if I can save for level one by then I may be able to apply? We shall see though :D Regarding weightloss some may say its selfish but I dont think so. Common sense says that it should go because of the cost but somethings in life you have to do whatever the cost...

Penelope ~ Thanks, I am glad there is more than just me who have things on thier SOA that they will not change. I guess debt busting has to be a two way thing, if that means having a smal vice in your budgets thats life. Oh yes my budgets are done up untill January, I cant work without having a few months ahead :rotfl:

  • Afternoon all :hello: Mini update from me...

    Sunday 25th ~ NSD
    Monday 26th ~ £4.74 Postage

I have also paid £9.66 to my credit card today so thats a small extra payment. I am going to try and pay something everyday either off my credit card or into my savings tin. I had done a PAD before and it did work but I decided to pay lump sums at payday instead. Now I feel I need to be a bit more proactive so the PAD's are back :T

Nothing much more to add really. I have sorted out my diet packs though. I wasnt completely 100% on holiday and I knew I wouldnt be however I now have 12 packs left here, equivalent to 4 days meals. So on weigh-in on Thursday I am hoping I will be allowed to only buy the ones I need. This could save me £20.40. I am sure my counseller will be fine with it but we shall see. If I have this cash left I will put £5 away for one xmas money, £10 for one birthday gift and then £5 onto my credit card. Fingers crossed I can save that money.

So thats me just now. I am going to try and update my diary every 2/3 days to keep me on track, sorry if I ramble and send you to sleep :rotfl:

    Keep plodding all
