Hi brummie babe, great to see you around still
Well today I am £29 up  Long story short, I brought a sewing machine and it was faulty, got a replacement and the item was obviously used to the extent where I wonder how a shop worker could have accepted it back. After a fight I got my money and not a voucher  However what shocked me was the attitude that they gave us on the phone and then instore. So now although I am up the money I am down a valueble piece of equipment. I cant afford to replace this especially as this was in the sale and also a smaller version. However I will make do in the mean time.0 -

Obviously the shop assistant needs some training in customer relations, PaP.
Perhaps you'll find something on ebay.

Hi Rog, Mum wants to write to head office. To be honest I dont care that much, yes it annoyed me but thats life :rotfl: I have been searching ebay but there are none really in my area just now. At the momment I am hand sewing for my projects and yes its hard going and time consuming but its not that bad.
So sorry to hear that you have had no news. What a set back, I hope they are just working through a decision for you. Can understand why you feel dis-hearted though. Could you phone them later in the week or have you already done that?
Is your Grandson home now?
Take care :A
Edit for money stuff ~
So I have borrowed £40 from mum and now have the money from the machine spare. So after sending all my ebay parcels and personal parcels yesterday this is how I stand ~ £59.60So £6.20 put asside for the cinema, and then £53.40 for the remainder of the month/clothes purchase's. I do have three more parcels to send one of which is a airmail to America but that shouldnt be more than £1.60 and the other two roughly £1.50 each, these wont be ready to send untill Friday now anyways so I will keep some money back to cover them.
So thats me for another day, I am getting my hair cut/trimmed today but the hair dresser doesnt charge for mine as mum has highlights/stuff0 -

Rog glad to hear it, hope he has a long and fruitfull life :j
So been shopping and I am now home. we decided against the cinema so I save a bit thereSo I spent £3.?? at the post office (with one last parcel to send but I needed a new jiffy bag), £3.39 on lunch
, £3.77 on pet supplies and then £41.10 at asda. In asda that included 4 pairs of trousers, jiffy bag, briefs, a smart price t shirt, a box of tissues, 3 bottles of shampoo and 3 bottles of conditioner (I needed some anyways and my usual was on 3 for £2 thus having 2 bottles free as they are usually £1 each :j). I think thats not too bad. Mum also brought me some socks and a new cotton bag.
Therfore after feeding my pig I have £7.40 left :T I guess the parcel that needs sending tommorow will cost £2 so that then leaves £5.40 for the month.
So I think I was quite sucessfull really... I am relaxing for a bit now before I start uploading things into turbo lister ready to list at a later date0 -
Opps, I just tryed one of the trousers on and the fit is awful so they will be going back. I tryed on the pairs I brought three of and they were fine. This last pair I picked up on a whim and didnt try on. They arnt very nice at all and the fit is horrid, it looks like I have wings :rotfl:So they will be returned and thus I will get £12 back, its irronic that they were £12 and not nice yet the £6 ones are fab. Shame they didnt have more of the £6 ones
Anyways thats a little update....0 -
