  • Thanks Babes, I cant wait till I can get one :j

Ok so thought I may do a little catch up thing. So everythings going great bils are leaving my account steadily and eveything seems ok. I did have a hic up and brought a takeaway on saturday  but I never have a takeaway and I need food after I had been ill and not eating for days. I have sold some of my craft stuff online so once I payed postage on those things I 'made' £43.37. Most of that was payed into my paypal account except £20 which was payed in person.

With the money in my paypal account I brought some more felting needles £11.80 (I am going to try and 'felt for free' and not spend any 'normal' money on this craft, instead selling something if I need needles/wool) and then ink and stuff for swaps £10.82. I now have £6.25 in my paypal account which I will just leave there sitting untill I need something or I sell more.

So as of today I have £36.30 left in my purse (that includes the £20 mention above and after I emptied my purse of change) for the rest of the month and then I have £73.76 spare in my current account. Mum now owes me £30 which was irronically her birthday money  however she will give me that back. I have decided to get here some earings for her birthday to go with the hand cream I already have here, I will also make here a bear. Dont know how much they will cost but maybe about £20? which I will now take from the spare I have in my current account untill Mum gives me the money back. However all in all its all cool and money seems fine.

I am now on holiday from work and not back untill the 29th so that means no money will be spent untill prob febuary now (except the earings) :j So thats great, I am still keeping my detailed spending diary and I will hopefully do a mini month breakdown at the end of January and see what it looks like :j

So thats me this week ~ Hope you are all well and enjoying your journeys :T

Hope you enjoy your 'holiday' PaP. It's always nice, and therapeutic, to have a break.

  • Thanks Gem and Rog, doing not much really although I didnt plan anything really as I just wanted a 'break'.

Money wise things are going well, I have spent £10 because the gift my brother brought me for birthday (ds game, that 100 books) I never opened because I didnt think I would like it. Anyways I was waiting for my sims to come back stock to see if I could swap it, well it came back in stock after over a month yesterday. Well they have an offer running where you can get two £20 games for £30. So I brought another game and only payed £10 for it :j I also had a refund on my pedometer, it didnt count the way I thought it did and you had to work out your step size etc so I gave up and sent it back, so I got a £13.67 refund on that. I have also lent more money to mum  I know its bad but I will get it all back next week so that all stands as £60 (£50 for me and £10 for the pig) and that doesnt included the frontline money she promised me  Anyways I have decided to put the £50 she owes me straight onto my argos card so that cover the first payment for my laptop ~ which I am picking up in store either wednesday/thursday :D I am planning to get my soa divised for Feb and march this week sometime so I know what the next few months entail :)

have a great weekend all :j
  • Afternoon all, I thought I would give a mini update just now to see how things are.

So not much has happened really, I have lent mum some more money :( and I have also spent a fair bit on baking stuff so I could make some cakes instead of buying them. So as it stands I have £29.55 in my current account (after bills) and £70 owed to me from mum. I have ordered my laptop so that should be here tommorow, I was going to collect it from the store but they had some to purchase online so I did it that way instead. I now owe £270.09 :o :rotfl: and have untill July to clear it, simple. Below I have posted my 'complete this challenge' post below and I have challenged myself to overpay the laptop next month by £30 I feel that will be easy to accomplish. So here is my Soa for Feb and the same for march/april :rotfl:

    £35.00 ~ internet
    £13.00 ~ house ins
    £21.00 ~ bus ticket
    £10.00 ~ WLR
    £40.00 ~ SU club

    £75.00 ~ locked saver
    £40.00 ~ laptop repayment

    £449.00

    Left ~ £56.97

So thats me for another month :T Dont feel too bad, I did have a bad few days (the same as usual) but I think I am through that now. I am back on wlr with enthusiasm after finding out I have mantained for 14days, that could have been 4lb lost  but all together I feel ok, not looking forward to going back to work, although I am bored at home its just 'that place' but hey ho, at least I have a job which I am 100% grateful each day  .

Thanks for reading my blub for another day :rotfl:

  • Beanie ~ yes its all good.

So back at work today, I got some more monet for my wii today so that will cover some more of my laptop. So far as extra I have around £60 :j I have bid on something on ebay though. Its tools for metal embossing and the whole lot that is listed costs nearly £80 and I have bid just over £20 for it. I have wanted to buy them for ages but not for £80. Anyways if I lose them (max £26) then I will have £80 for my laptop as extra payment :T

Just want to ask your opinion on this? Mum has asked the utillitys if she can go onto a standard meter. They are installing them in the next few weeks for free. She is planning on paying £100 a month to cover both by direct debit. At the momment we spend around £90 a month in the prepayment meters but obviously it cost us more and we are generally in the emergency some of the time. Do you think The £100 will be sufficent or should we be paying more? Our hose is terrible (council) and we have single glazing and it eats heat, or so it seems. We now only heat the upstairs as we are there 90% of the time. What do you think? More or see what the first quarter bill is like?

Thanks for reading more rabble :rotfl:
