Tiny update before I go to bed. My paypal money cleared today so I put £3.30 in my locked saver and £5.00 in my holiday pig. I therfore have £5 spare as I need to send a parcel tommorow but whats left will go in my pig :j Oh also my stampin up money will be around 1/2 this month as our last 'group' has just finished and the new one stats in fab. However I need some glue so that will be £10 with postage.
So this is january's soa. Its the first month that I will be on p/t wages so I have to play it a bit by ear but if need be things can be altered/shaved. I have worked my wages out as a round number (£5 instead of £6.62) as I am unsure what tax/ni/pension they will take this coming month. Therfore...

£120.00 ~ rent ~ reduced due to mums half of the payment for holiday

Mikey, the food is in with the rent, as long as I eat what mum buysIf I want anything extra like takeaways/water/luxaries it has to come out of the £40. As for entertainment I dont go out ~ full stop :rotfl:I entertain myself on here and with all my craft stuff or walking ~ tis free
Saying that though I have got to take my mum out on her birthday so that will cost a fair bit from my £40  Ohh this weekend I an working but only 5 hours each day, I will then be on here and chilling.
Hope you have a nice weekend, what are you up to?0 -
Ok just out of curiosity I thought I would try and find out what tax I may pay on my earnings. So working on that I pay 10% pension, tbh I dont know this amount and I should check in work really so I can up it if needed. So using listentothetaxman and working on 20 hours @ £6.62 = £529.60 per month =
Tax free Allowances £502.50
Total taxable £27.10
Tax paid £5.42
National Insurance £8.21
Pension [you] £10.00
Pension [HMRC] £2.50
Total Deductions £23.63
Net Wage £505.97
Now anyone who is tax knowledgeable think this is correct? I so dont believe any of it but thats the person I am, because to me that means I wont be paying enough taxIf its true I will be taking home an extra £98 ish a month (after union and social deductions)
Any help welcome0 -
I think that's right as your income isn't very high over the tax threshold so you're being taxed on very littleNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130
