    Have now caught up!!

holly - hugs - you were not being unreasonable at all

michelle - hugs - take it slowly and try and get out - it makes me feel better

pinkfairy - rest!! Hoep you're not feeling too bad

natty - you need to rest too!

christmasshopper - any luck finding your ring? Ooh - just read your update! Great news about the photo - maybe ring will turn up soon.

Years and years ago, my mum lost her engagement ring, searched everywhere for it but no luck. About 10 years later, when my aunty moved house, it was found stuck in the elements at the back of her fridge!

Right I am going to do some flying now that Pompey have won :D

    HHC 5:00 - 5:30 anyone?

Feel tired and unmotivated today, kitchen in uproar as OH has moved the sink unit away from wall to plaster walls and then tiling them.

    So far I have

collected a parcel from post office - ebay bargain boots, love em - :D

bought 2 huge sacks of chicken corn and pellets which should see them right through winter.

    Hoovered front room.

    Got coal fire going.

Tidied a bit of the coffee table.

Put some stuff in freezer but can't fit any more in.:o:eek:

Can't do washing as WM disconnected, can't really get in kitchen due to disruption and OH working. But bright side is where the remoska comes into its own as I can plonk it in the dining room and get food prepared on dining table.:D

Right, best start getting rid of all the carp on the stairs. xx

Afternoon all, although it feels like evening it is so dark.

Spent a couple of hours in the garden this afternoon digging up dahlias and sweeping leaves. Still loads to do but it was a start and DS3 came out and played football on the drive so he got some fresh air too.

Cats have been balmy today, not slept like they usually do and worried constantly for food - OH feed them early this morning. Will shut them in when we go to the firework display later as they are due a sleep now.

Not done much off the list so will try to finish it tomorrow.

Sorry froddy was just finishing mine as you started. Good luck.
Triker my freezer was getting like that, I am now trying to empty it for Xmas stuff but it's not going very well, need to be more organised and stop buying stuff. Stop talking about Remoskas please :(
Dusty my dogs are the same at the mo, very anxious, always are this time of year unfortunately. Ageewith you feels weird still since the clocks changed, I am struggling to get used to it this year

Someone said they were solar powered earlier this week, I think that describes me these days, I used to be a night owl, worked best through the night and I always had night jobs, but lately as soon as it's dark or dull I feel tired. I was good, all motivated and did loads earlier but now it's like someones zapped me with a tired stick. I di my list apart from cleaning out the noo noo as I looked and it's yuk, so decided to do a good job instead of a rushed one.

Food time, sandwich and angel dlight for me I tink, can't be fluffedto make anything else for me.

Speaking of freezer isues, I wonder if it would be a good idea to list mine, I haven't oe it for ages nd it's something I always used to do, might help me be more organised and save scratching around to meal plan
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Hi everyone

We've pretty much had an out of the house day today, as we were disturbed sleepwise by both Ds's last night. DS1 was dreaming about a tiger that he had lost so we had to search for that about midnight and he was still going on about it this morning, and DS2 was coughing a lot, so i gave him a bottle about 2:30.

    We've managed to:
    • get DS1's feet measured and buy him new shoes
    • get DS1 weighed at Boots, then as he was big enough, bought him a 3-12 yo car booster seat.
    • bought each boy a lighweight rain coat on 1/2 price sale at Boots which should do for next spring/autumn
    • had lunch out - played in the park with charlie for half an hour afterwards
    • did the morrisons - while i did the food shop, DH cleaned his car as DS2 was asleep
    • came home, food shop away, but not a lot else
As we had a big meal out, i won't be cooking again tonight. So i think i might do some ironing while we watch a film. I have a load of wet stuff to hang up too before the boys go to bed.

For those of you who have Wii's I have bought a steering wheel for Mario cart for £3.99 today. DH informs me i need to buy the extra controller too, but it's something else i now have. ;) I don't know if it is the cheapest around, but as i was there it will do me.

Anyway, best get on with boys - may pop back later. lickleGibbon just wanted to say you didn't upset me, just made me think. You had every right to post, and i hope your friend is ok.

Are you feeling any better today... or just trying not to think about it all? I really felt for you yesterday, and thought.... 'yep, I know how that feels'
But if you didn't blow your stack every now and again you wouldn't be human. It's such a tough job being a full time mum, esp when they're so small and utterly demanding. It's enough to drive anyone demented. It doesn't have anything to do with you being maternal or not.

I firmly believe that it doesn't do our children any harm to understand that we're a mum - yes, but a person first. As such we have feelings too! And sometimes we are frustrated, or even really angry, but that doesn't mean that we don't love our children desperately.

There have been times when I've bawled the children out, and then felt rotten about it, but it's just life isn't it?! Be good to you honey, you're doing a great job. Do you know how I know?? ..... Because if you weren't, you wouldn't be bothered about it.
