SOOOOO glad i didnt clear the floordrobe last night.... sarah rolled off the bed this morning before i could catch her (over the pillows id put either side to stop her doing it) Luckily the floorrobe cushioned the fall.....and when i dived over the bed after her she was just lying on the floor looking up at me - not a tear or a scream - just a look of "ooh what happened there mum?!" on her face:o :o:o:o :rotfl:
So glad she is OK and I love your description of her expression.

Why is it when you decide to tidy/reorganise one area you just end up creating more mess in others?

    Afternoon all,

holly I did join you in your first HHC but went out straight after, so far today I have
    emptied & reloaded DW
    emptied & reloaded WM
    made soup for lunch
    walked dog
    cleared airer of dried clothes
    s&s kitchen

Have also spent time watching tree surgeons remove two trees from our garden (we have joined in with a neighbour and are getting a really good rate for removing 4 trees in total) its not a job i could do just watchin them at the top of the tree turns my stomach.

Have left the girls & OH in the LR settling down to watch the rugby, have left the dusters & hoover with them in the hope that they may use them....

i am going to do some studying now and will watch the scotland game later.

Hope all are having a good weekend.

    Hey all

Down at my parents to get my car fixed so not doing much today again! Back still hurting on and off which is really getting on my nerves now. DD2 has a huge bruise on her forehead as she was taken on the trampoline and hit her head on the metal bit, my brother has been warned never to take her on it again without the protection around and someone there! He was only helping but still. Thankfully she had a cry and now is running around the house, it's the other side to the yellowing bruise she got by hitting her head on the pavement when she fell over walking though!

I might try cleaning the car out when I get home...that can't be too hard! Shall put small girl down for her nap and get the other two to help me :)
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

Ouch!! Natty REST - with foot up whenever possible and cold pad for the swelling.

    Remember RICE: Rest
    Ice
    Compression
    Elevation

And I'm sitting with my feet up!:p

johanne, oh bless her, I always put a duvet or cushions on the floor if we have a little one staying n a normal bed, used to do it with my boys, many times I went to check on them through the night and they were snuggled p in the duvet on the floor. Oh and try sugar in his undies, no need to buy anything specific, itches then when he sweats it'll go stiky!
boddy hope you are feeling better soon, well done for taking time off when you need it, not as if you get extra thanks for going in poorly

After a very late start, I'm doing VERY well, have gathered up all of the last 2 years uni books (ones from downstairs anyway, might find a few upstairs yet) and thrown them in the recycling bag, DP ha to carry it outside as it's so heavy and my back is still going crackers. Realistically I ve nowhere apart from the loft to keep them and will I really ever ned them again? I managed this years course without opening last years books. If I'd put them in the loft it would have probably caved in :rotfl: The fact you can walk in the conservatory now shows the work I have done because you couldn't before, become a dumping ground, sofas were both full (just one to go) so now dog has decided he's stting on the cleared one..

I need to go onto the cubs/scouts thingy website and figure out where the badges need putting on that are still in my pocket, someone said there is a picture on there (got wondaweb! thanks AnWsMum I just need to find the iron now :o )

Going to finish my breakfast/lunch, decorated myself with it too as I put some chopped tomatoes in with the sausages, then another HHC, need to stat breaking it up into stages as knee and back is going mental

In my 3.30-4pm HHC I WILL (feel free to join)

[STRIKE]Empty the box that's on the sofa
Rejig paper storage as where it is won't work [/STRIKE]
Clear any junk from under sofas (drag broom handle under for now)
[STRIKE]Remove mugs, plates and cans from desk (Wondered where the mugs were, should have remembered DP was in here yesterday)
Make DPs packed lunch for work
Sort through another box of shoes
    Empty airer
Empty WM, start TD and put what can't go in on airer
Fill WM with DPs stinky trainers and some borax/tea tree oil mix[/STRIKE]
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
