Sorry Zav, the system timed out or something in the middle of my post and I must have lost my actual target of £250 per month, a total of £3000 over the year. Together with my regular mortgage payments this should bring me under £200,000 if I've calculated right  Thanks again for all you're doing here!![/quote]
I have changed your target - sorry, think I misread it, bu hey ho its correct now:D

Hi everyone,
Hope you've all had a good Christmas and New Year.
I'm not making any overpayments yet, I'm concentrating on getting a loan paid off early. That should be done by June/July and then I'll start overpaying on the mortgage.
I'll be glad when I've managed a big chunk and feel like I have a little leeway.0 -

Happy new year to everyone
I have made my January overpayment of £139.15. Might be able to pay some more if i can go easy on the petrol this month!
This leaves £2,790 to pay to reach my target for the year. Feels like a great start. I am alredy seeing the difference in the interest payments. Last months interest was £11.92 more than this month.
hope everybody else gets off to a good start0 -
229 - 5000 / 300 / 300 only £4700 to go for this year.:j0

Anyway, I'm feeling down today so I paid another £10 off today to cheer me up.
