hi, im aiming to pay £500 per month off my mortgage this year without taking chunks out of our savings, so my aim is reduce outgoings, especially on food. Husband will no longer be allowed in Tescos! and aim to grow more of our own food. Im hoping to be mortgage free by the time my fixed rate expires in 4 years time. Or if we do really well by 2012.

Hi,
Please could you put me down for £520 this year?
I know £10 a week isn't much, but we have other things to concentrate on this year, like paying off the boiler we've just had to buy.
Ta xDebts May 09 [strike]£100 Od[/strike], [strike]£1550 boiler[/strike], [strike]£1750[/strike] £400 credit card  Goal - to 3k of savings by Oct 2009 in time for Baby num 2 :j Total so far £12000 -
Hi Zavarony,
I'd really like to join this challenge too (not sure if I've been automatically added as a 2008mfw?).
My target (slightly vague I know) is to OP by the maximum I am allowed without incurring penalty (10% but not sure if this is from the original amount borrowed or the remaining balance) PLUS fill my ISA when the new year begins in April
Will let you have more specific details once I've worked it out
May thanks
Courgette
Hi Courgette - you are re-enrolled with the same number you had in the 2008 thread - just let me know a target figure when you have one.

Hi YC, Ive added you to the first post and even if £10 a week doesnt seem like much, its a start and will still make a difference to the amount you have to pay.

Hi Zavarony, I'd like to be on this challenge please. We're remortgaging in Feb to the First Direct Offset....hurrah, at last!....I'll then know the figures better but we aim to pay a bare minimum of £100 per month extra off the mortgage....but hope for more. We are, however, going to be addressing our pensions too so lots of money going to lots of places.
All the best
