    Hi everyone,

No 181 checking in with June totals.
2009 Target £3000/ June monthly overpayment £503.08/ Year to date total £2949.73. So less than £51 to meet my 2009 target. I will try to pay this towards the end of this month. I've got to start looking round for a new mortgage deal at the end of July but as I have a LTV of about 30% thanks to overpayments I'm hoping that finding a new deal won't be problem.

I will PM Zavarony with the totals.

Hi, #169 checking in with totals for June to date.

I've previously set an automated overpayment to occur on the first of the month for the remainder of the year.

This month, I've paid 126.97 as an overpayment.

    June payment: 126.97
Year to date target: 50% - ie 1,900.00
Year to date actual: 33.86% - ie 1,286.82

My 3,800 annual target was based on where I'd ideally like my mortgage to be at the end of 2009.

It's increasingly looking likely that I won't hit that year end "ideal", but I'm still going to be sub 50k, which is nice.

May have the opportunity to put a further £150 towards the mortgage later this month - need to do the sums nearer month end.

Oh dear. I'll make a mental note to re-try in a few days to make sure you don't miss my totals for June.

We have a regular saver maturing this month, and I took the executive decision yesterday to throw £150 - about half of the anticipated interest of £325 towards the mortgage as a further overpayment for June.

Zavarony - I'll also PM you with this update too...

Hi - No. 230 reporting in. Tried to PM zavarony but could not send as PM box still full. Another £1000 overpaid on the mortgage over the last two months. I'll try to PM zavarony again in the next couple of days.

    Hello all,

I haven't been on these boards too much recently as I was just going to let my regular payments bring me down to the £65.5k target I have set myself for December. However I found it really, really hard having savings that I could get out so at the end of May I paid them onto the mortgage. This means that the figures are:

    Target for Dec 09 - £65.5k mortgage. June 09 - £69k mortgage.
Total overpaid 2009 (inc. regular payments) £19654

Will see how MSing, MBing, eBaying etc. goes and I might even drop my target down to £60k for Dec 2009...no promises ....

    Hiya

    No 274 reporting for June!

    Just £50 this month.

We've decided to try to rent the house out and then rent somewhere else ourselves as we are not going to be able to buy a bigger house for quite a while. So OP will drop a little as we get the house in shape. (It an old cottage in need of some tlc!)

OH is in teacher training until Dec, so will probably wait until he has a job in january then put the house up for rent then.

    Can't wait to move!
