Nice one sniffer, got mine today.

I used the credit card quick pay machine instore which does not give a voucher or the tapes. Customer service gave me the £10 voucher and after finding the free tapes code in the big book (next to the camcorder on a seperate promo insert) I typed it in but they were out of stock. On the same page was a code for a 10 pack tapes which you got if you bought a higher price camcorder, gave that code to customer service who just glanced at the page, agreed and gave me 10 tapes!

Don't use the quick pay machine. I have tried twice and both times it ended in disaster, the first time after smacking the darn screen for about half an hour i managed to place the order but it wouldn't let me have my card back so had to wait like 2 hours for someone to get that out and the second time it ordered everything twice and so took the dosh twice oh and it doesn't let you have the free items (they only tell you that once you have paid ::)

Having USB ports (No firewireIEEE-1394) means no problem to connect it to my PC ???

Hiya folks a newbie here been reading the site for a while before posting so forgive me in the early days with some stupid questions. This shows up on the argos as £349.99 have they corrected it or will it be the cheaper price in the stores.

Its now in their sale pages for £299 after they've knocked off £50 but it will go through at £149.99 - they've just not advertised it yet!

The one online is the VLZ100 not the VLZ1 as discussed here. There must but be a massive difference in spec! but I can't see it for looking.

I had another go a few days later as i thought it would work fine, had to give them another chance, never again ::). You should have seen the Q I was talking to one woman who had been waiting an hour just to pay and still had to wait to collect her goods - couldn't believe it. Thanks to the op by the way, I have reserved one for a mate
