    Hi ya ,

Just thought i'd pop back in to check out how you are doing ....
Am glad that you finally got your internet banking sorted out ...... It makes things so much easier , don't you think ? .....
What happened about your sick pay from when you were off a short while ago .... do you know if they are going to pay you yet ?
Also all the best with your £10k by Christmas 2009 .... and your sealed pot challenged ....
You still seem to be really focused on everything ..... so Well Done and keep up the good work .....

  • Yep all going fairly well here. Went out last night for works do, drove and spent the grand total of 0p! (Not including the babysitter!) Good night out.

Last couple of days I've been a bit naughty, buying lunches etc instead of taking my own but generally the direction is up, or do I mean down!

It's now 12 days to the 'Mega Payday' Then i will really kick !!!!. Funny how now I can't wait for statements to arrive so I can update totals etc.

What I'm really proud of is not using my OD facility on my AL account. Seemed pointless to have a 3rd overdraft! But it means I have been spending from Halifax even though I'm paying that as my PAD. But pshycologically it's good to be paying something every day. Have £79 to last me til the 19th so should be ok.

As far as the 10k challenge goes I've decided to only count capital paid as otherwise I could see myself counting the same £ 3 or 4 times! It is a tough target, but I think part of the whole LBM is actually realising just how long and how hard it is going to be to pay off.

  • Since joining paid off over £500 pounds..Well impressed because that could of so easily have been £500 more debt. Can't say it's been easy but hasn't been crippling either. Debt nearly at under 12k. Hopefully in next couple of day my cc statements will be in and that should shave off that amount (minimum payments to those bad boys!)

Congrats. That should give you the incentive to keep working at it.
Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)
