I'm interested in this offer and have reserved it at my local store. I was just wondering if I bought them both (and a memory card to make it look a bit more genuine!) took the printer back and told them that the camera has been used, what do you think would happen??? Surely they wouldnt want the camera back and the printer isnt excluded from being returned if its unused is it???
Welcome to the Boards Bargainhunter. Provided Argos haven't changed the criteria, the printer remains within their 16-day NO-QUIBBLE money-back guarantee. Each item is shown separately on your receipt. They may ask why you are bringing the printer back; I simply told them that the box hadn't even been opened before my friend told me that an alternative printer offered equal quality prints, but with cheaper consumables.
If you are still a little uncomfortable, check out their 16-day money back guarantee in the catalogue or online.0 -

if you buy the items online can you return them to a store?
Don't know JPS. I bought in-store, in Southampton, on Thursday night. returned the printer to my local store, in Eastleigh, on Friday evening.
...then went on-line to reserve another in-store, in Eastleigh. I'll colect that this morning, and drop the printer off in Southampton when I go shopping there later today!0 -

I tried removing the printer and the camera went back up in price.
Then I tried addinga 19" monitor but it never worked, oh well I tried. Guess you have to use the printer and send it back.
I didn't use the printer at all BritBrat. I carefully read the Argos NO-QUIBBLE money-back guarantee, then took it back the next day - saying that it hadn't been opened and that a friend had recommended an alternative printer with cheaper consumables.0 -

Well spotted Jgjet. I did a search for "HP E317" and "digital camera" at "£19.99" but nothing came up. Hope I haven't stolen anyone's thunder.0 -
I just bought the bundle & returned the printer!0

I tried to do this today. The woman read out something about if the printer is returned, the camera must be brought back to, as it's part of a bundle. Tried to return the printer only to be told that I must bring the camera back. Ended up returning both.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

I have just bought this package and will try returning the printer tomorrow. If they won't take back the printer, they can have both items back. I saved a further £10 as my gift voucher arrived this morning for having spent over £100 last week on an xbox 360.0

Try to take back the printer without a receipt and get a gift voucher - worked for me! Just insist that you purchased the printer by itself.0

I'm going to take the printer back and say I thought it printed normal documents as well as photos
Gift vouchers are worth around £79 on eBay anyway! (Shocking I know)0 -
Maybe I should take it back after the deal ends too...Then they won't know about the bundle0
