I hope so - Would make a nice Xmas present for a member of my family for £200

Just looked on the Argos leaflet.
Basically the printer and camera both have 1 + next to them which is supposed to mean "Excluded from 16 day money back guarantee" but the printer is NOT excluded according to both the website and Ring And Reserve
Going to give it a go tomorrow0 -

I have one reserved would be interesting to know what it says on the receipt and if the 2 items are linked..Would it be better to pay by cash?0 -
Can't see how the payment method would matter - I would also be interested in what the receipt would show.
But to be honest if you take it back on a busy Saturday afternoon they hardly look at the receipt!0 -
This one's going to be... interesting for us in stores.
If you buy the printer separately you can return it under the 16 day GNT.
Buy the camera separately and it's excluded [like all digital cameras].
But buy the camera and printer package together... BOTH are excluded.
I can see the arguments coming from a thousand miles off, Argos do make life REALLY easy for us front line staffers sometimes...
Do me a favour and be extra nice to all the guy's in stores if you try to return this.
Please?

How does that work?
Is that a definate? The 16 day is stuck onto both if they are bought together?!
I really wanted 1 or 2 of these for family members but you couldn't pay me to use the printer! Ridiculously expensive running costs0 -
I did that last year. However, on the receipt it showed both items as one offer. So I returned it afetr Christmas but without receipt, said I'd had it as a gift. No problem - £80 gift vouchers in my hand!!! Ended up with Camera, new dinner set, Kettler drawers, plate stand and bathroom scales for £100 - was great fun! If you couldn't use the vouchers - could always try selling them on - would probably get v. close to the amount they are worth.Accepted offer on our house - Sept 2006
Offer accepted on house we wanted - October 2006
Survey completed - November 2006
Searches completed - January 2007
Vendor pulls out January 2007 - Aaaagghhh
Offer accepted on next house - January 2007

Eh??? I got one of these printers with the deal last year and only used 2 ink carts the whole time. Very cost effective printer as I sold the camera on Ebay and made a packet0 -
I went to the Coventry shop this morning - no joy! It was a case of all or nothing0
