I bought a couple... as you do
... via Home Delivery. Took the first printer back to my local store at 5.00 last Friday. The place was packed !! The Manager was on the Customer Services till so I didn't hold out much hope. I asked for a refund and the guy proceeded to call Argos Direct to confirm my order. Thought I was done for then ! Anyways, the line was engaged for ages ! The manager was trying to do other jobs whilst holding the phone under his chin ! He asked how much I'd payed for it and I replied £79.99. Further waiting on the line... In the end he gave up waiting and just gave me a refund, no further questions asked !
Thought I'd better not chance my luck there with the other printer so took it to another local store. Handed it across and once again asked for a refund. The guy on the till disappeared for ages, obviously on the phone to Argos Direct again ! At last he reappeared and told me that I'd bought the items as a bundle and would have to bring back the camera. Well, I told him I'd given the camera away as a present so couldn't return it ! The printer was a present as well but was unsuitableAt this point, I passed across a print out of the email confirmation I had, explaining that there was no mention of the items being a bundle or that I would have to return both if a refund was required. So off he went again to speak to the manager... Result ! Begrudgingly, he asked for the credit card I'd used so he could give me a full refund !

Think they finally caught on, printer now states :
When bought as part of bundle deal, if the printer is returned under the 16 day money back guarantee, the camera must also be returned. This does not affect your statutory rights.
and both printer and camera come up as 49.99, guess they are trying to cut the big loss on the camera, but remember if the printer is returned under the 16 day money back guarantee, the camera must also be returned, doesn't say you have to if the printer is faulty - statutory right to a refund if that's the case, but with the camera at £50 now, is it such a bargain?0
