  • Hmm.. did someone delete my post about sweet and sour sauce?

I directly quoted some material from another site in it (recipe instructions) - is there actually a rule against doing that..?

    Hi Hemisphere,

I'm afraid that for legal reasons we can't copy and post material that is published elsewhere. See here for more details. It's fine if we post a link to a recipe or put it into our own words but we can't post the recipe exactly as it's published as it can cause copyright issues for the site.

As your thread has fallen down the Old Style board I've added it to the main sweet chilli sauce thread so your recipe can be found more easily by other Old Stylers.

My friend gave me her recipe and it is perfect.

    Tomato ketchup
Smart price mint sauce ( about 17p/jar in Sainsbury's)
    Chilli

TBH, |I just get a wee jar and put a good dollop of ketchup and mint sauce in and a wee bit of hot chilli and mix. Then adjust to taste. It is exactly like the chilli sauce that you get with a take-away, but can never find in a bottle IYKWIM!

    Hi Welsh Poppy :D

I've merged this with the main sweet chilli sauce thread, so you can look back and hopefully the recipe will be in here :)
