Thanks to magic freebies for this one:
Gaymers have a great try me free deal on at the mo. Look out for their promotional bottles. You can buy them, send your till receipt off together with the leaflet which you can print off on the site linked and they'll refund your purchase and the postage for sending in the leaflet and receipt. Worth picking up while you're doing your shop!

Not sure of dates yet but will look out for this one.

Has anyone done the L'oreal MBG. Did you send the whole product or just the barcode?
I sent off the L'Oreal Collagen Micro-Vibration Eye MBG on 28th July. Just had the whole lot returned to me with a preprinted letter with 10 reasons listed why "we have been unable to process your application". Get the feeling this isn't going to be an easy MBG!! Mine was returned because "You did not include the product tube with your application. If you would care to sent it with a copy of this letter we will be pleased to fulfil your application".
Now I've checked the t's and c's in great detail and nowhere can I see where it says return the product! I have to send back for them to receive by 13 Aug! No phone number to ring so rang L'Oreal cust services who said something along the lines of "nothing to us with us and we don't have a tel number for the outsourcing company". Not impressed. Any one else had a problem?
  • That's not good. I haven't had anything back yet but I didn't send the tube either. I would be quite happy to as I can't bear using it, the vibration feels awful!

Great! I will be getting mine back. I will definitely put a snotty note with it saying PLEASE MAKE YOUR TERMS CLEAR. IF YOU WANT THE TUBE BACK, SAY YOU WANT THE TUBE BACK, NOT JUST THE BOX! Errr.

PS. I think I have missed the Vanish MBG too. It had to be sent back within 28 days. Darn!

Just bought another Castello cheese to use at another address, and this time I bought it at Tesco. On the receipt, it is listed as "Soft cheese"

Since there is no need to send any packaging back, just the till receipt, I hope that they will still identify it as Castello and pay up. Has anybody had problems like this before with any other product where the till receipt doesn't list the item by name.

Low and behold I got the same letter today.
I'm very tempted to just squeeze the contents out of the tube into a spare tub, then put the tube in the envelope they sent and write "return to sender"......Do you reckon that'd work? ;)

Yep, I've had loads of products like that, and it's never been a problem. :) In fact, the Ariel I just bought just says "stain remover" on the receipt.
