I just got a letter from Dorset Cereals today saying the unique code I sent in was not from a promotional pack so they cannot refund me. It definately WAS from a promotional pack because that is the only reason I bought it, and I got the details from the side of the box, there is no way I could have made a mistake here. How annoying!
    Make £5 a day in July - £105.33/£155

    Total debt July '09: £7,500
Proud to be dealing with my debts but not proud that they are still the same a year on.

Bit confused about the L'oreal eye cream offer. When they say they want the pack back does that mean the paper box with the barcode or the plastic tube with the cream in it? Or both? Because if I have to send the product back to get the refund there's no point.
    Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65

I think they just want the bit of the box, as the T&Cs state
    detached base flap from the pack of Collagen Micro-Vibration Eye including the barcode;

I swear they use the smallest print possible to put people off applying...

This may be somewhat out of context but... it is generally the case with product packaging that the text is getting smaller. I know it may seem this way just as we get older, but that's only a fraction of the story:
    • Food packaging adds ever more complex and unneccessary nutritional data.
    • All packaging adds info for multiple markets in many countries.
    • National and internation laws compound both problems.
I'm only mid-forties but I often have to hold a box up to the nearest spotlight and squint through my reading lenses before I can make out some basic piece of information like "Best Before End..." And how often do I get back from the supermarket with eyestrain? :-/

Mind you, I do have a theory that NPN routes for free prize draws are deliberately given ridiculously long entry addresses to discourage us from making multiple entries...

Looks like a new stain removal money back guarantee. :j We'll all have sparkling clean clothes after this and the Vanish one! I think this is a new product.

I spotted this in a large Tesco store while out shopping. It wasn't on the shelves on its own but it was stuck to the front of a large packet of Ariel washing powder as a free gift. I assume that if you bought this the receipt will be for the washing powder therefore you couldn't claim it back. However, worth keeping an eye out for these in supermarkets as it looks like they may start to stock this product soon.

For more details go to the main Ariel.co.uk website and click the banner at the top of the page about the money back guarantee.

Okay so i got it WAY wrong in my last post, sorry its not loreal :rotfl:
This is the RIGHT one, it says on the side of the box 100% satisfaction guaranteed. IF you do not agree you just send the receipt and you have 6 months to do so!

I've seen different sizes/volumes of Ariel Stain Remover. Do people normally go with smaller or bigger pack when it's MBG? Just curious...
