Found the Pomegreat juice in the 99p shop today. Not that it makes much difference what you pay if you're applying for a refund...Reduces the loss to you though if they decide not to pay.:)

I'm sure the glamorous DOORMOUSE will update when she gets time. She may be really busy. I think she is doing a top job updating it when she gets chance. So thank you very much from me.

If everyone could just have a quick look at the last few pages before they post an offer then it will save on duplicate offer posts. Not that it's a problem if an offer is posted twice mind. It might mean someone who has not seen the first post sees the duplicate one.

Oh no, im not criticising doormouse at all, just there has been a lot of new people joining the thread lately and they tend to look at the first page rather than the whole thread.

Gonna email boots to ask why they are advertising the MBG as ended on the 9th july when phillips have said it is still valid? I might be able to buy it from boots then and get the ridiculous amount of boots points!!!!!

I think I am going to go for the Lumea (scary amount of money!).

If you do get a response from Boots it would be great to know what they say. Thank you so much for getting in touch with Philips. x

i think i will too! the response from boots is to check with phillips and as phillips have said it's ok, i might do the boots lumea deal too...

    here is what boots said

    Hello Victoria

Thanks for contacting us about the Philips Lumea hair removal system. I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy that the money back guarantee offer has now ended.

The description and information for each product advertised on Boots.com is provided by the manufacturer, so it's disappointing to learn it might be incorrect.

I've made our Boots.com Team aware this so that we can check the information and update our website accordingly. However, if you do have any queries surrounding the money back guarantee on your device, please contact Philips directly. I'd like to apologise for the inconvenience this has caused you.

Thanks again for contacting us. If I can help in any other way, please let me know. Your personal reference number is 10341311.

    Kind regards

Are you really going to send something so expensive back by freepost? I wouldn't dare. I'm thinking that any Boots points I might have earnt would be wiped out by my postage costs. But I even claimed my Olay by recorded delivery. And with them saying it's got to be back within 60 days I don't think it's worth the risk for a seven week loan of the gadget. I think you're very brave! Please let us know how you get on.
