  • Thanks everyone! Will it cost me more to let him send it back to me marked recipient to pay than it would to send him a cheque for the postage?

BTW Crispy Ambulance is from a Half Man Half Biscuit song . . .
"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee."
  • Crispy, I'd just refund him through amazon and take it on the chin and not expect it back (like Voodoo says)
  • Thinking about it, you're right. He might as well keep it and have the refund as it is no good to anyone else either.

On another point, I have had 3 pending sales now which have come to nothing. Is this a common occurence - it is just a bit annoying as presumably no-one else can see the items while they are pending, and then they don't get sold.

  • crispy, just going back to the CD, is there any possiblity of finding the missing one?, if you know that it could be found eventually it alters things a bit.

Your 3 pending sales is also a bit unlucky, what did your horoscope say about this week? I wouldn't shell out on a lottery ticket at the moment .....
  • I don't know if anyone has noticed the naming and shaming has started on the swapit forum....

Yorkielass, Do you live in South west London? There is an Oxfarm Bin near where i live that gets over full. I recycle paper about 1 a week and about every second time i go there i take my phone with me and call the number on the front of the Oxfarm bin to report it is full. It breaks my heart to see good books get damaged.

No I live in York - must be a current occurance, such a shame.

I listed 3 audio books on tape and 1 on CD last night, listed 2 textbooks that were in near enough new condition and relisted a CD which is my first thing which hasn't sold.

Think I'll search the bookshelves again tonight and pop a few more books on - really need to make some money atm.
