woohoo! and again this afternoon - i think its changing from boring old dog biscuits as a reward to cheese that is sealing the deal :T

My dogs won't 'go' when they are on a lead or on any surface other than (preferably long) grass. Mentalists the lot of them! They wait until they are let off in the fields or woods and go and find a hedge bottom. I've never quite worked out why this is as my brothers old dog couldn't pass a lamp post or or gateway without leaving 'wee mail'.

Badger would sell you her granny for a bit of cheddar or even better gorgonzola (bl00dy dog thinks its egon ronay!)

Keep on at it you are definitely getting there now!

And get someone else to take some pictures so we can have a look at her! (c'mon you owe it us, we told you about the cheese!)

haha - its gonna cost me a bloody fortune! if i have cheese in the fridge i can't leave it alone

penny i wish pooch here was obsessed with long grass - my gardens full of it! she seems to prefer it when its not tickling her bum tho - she only has lil legs mind bless her!

well so far all wees have been outside, but she snuck off and did a poo inside... defiantly easier to clean up tho!

Might seem a daft thing to suggest, but if your hallway is relatively small and your carpet is getting wrecked, perhaps ask someone to buy you laminate as an Xmas pressie? It's really quite cheap to buy and easy to fit.
We're fortunate, our hall carpet is cheap crappy stuff (put down just to make the house saleable, we bought it earlier this year) and much as I'm training our pup to go outside, the several accidents she's had on the hall carpet don't really matter as we'll be replacing it soon.

Sounds like you're making headway though. However, good luck with finding her poos when she sneaks off behind a bush in the park!!

You are well on the way I think, once she has had a poo when out with you and she gets a treat and praise, the 'new rules' will start to become a bit more understandable for her - it can't be easy being a dog sometimes!

no messing at all last night, and did a wee as soon as we went out this morning instead of the usual trying to play with the cat for 10mins first lol!

still hasnt done a poo in front of me yet tho....
