Another bingo win - you are doing great :j
I got paid today (hurray), but £400 less than I was expecting (boo). It's a good job I had some money left over from January. I am also pleased that I got those things sold on Ebay so thanks for the encouragement. I think I had better put a few more on to make this month a bit easier.
Have a nice weekend xxMortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000

I think we're going to book for March 2011.
Well done on the win.0 -
£400 less?! Is that an error made on your employer's part? Will you not see any of it back? That's heck of a lot less than expected.
----
Well we didn't buy what we went out looking for today, but we did pick up a few other things. I need to but some paint tomorrow, which shouldn't be more than £10.

Congrats on the wedding yukki, the year will absolutely fly by and it'll be here before you know it!

50 free spins on Jjoy today, resulting in a win of £12.09 - so £12 is hopefully on its way to the bank account.
2 x 10p & 50p on scratchcards this morning, no wins on the free bingo.
Have a good Sunday all

Regarding my wages, I have looked back at previous payslips and unfortunately it seems to be correcting an error made about 9 months ago. For various reasons, my pay has gone up and down a lot over the last year or so and it has been difficult to tell if I have been paid the right amount. I thought it would be back to normal from Jan 2010, but it seems I have to wait another month to return to my normal wages.
I will just have to be careful with my spending this month. My freezer is brimming with food so that will help.
I have a nice afternoon planned today including a concert. It was planned before I found out about the money, but its booked and paid for now so I'm just going to enjoy it.
Happy painting!Mortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000

Hope you enjoyed the concert Chocs, and a shame about the wage cut this month - hope the month flies by for you!

Feel like I've been AWOL a bit from here the last few days, but there's been no major DFW news, so not much to report really...
I've received the contract for the Sainsbury's card which I'll send back tomorrow, hopefully we'll start earning lots of nectar points soon with it.
2 x 10p on scratchcards this morning, also £15 received from Quidco.
I've been having a clear out in the cupboards in the bedrooms today. I redecroated one of the rooms at the weekend and one of the wardrobes broke, so had to dismantle it and find other places for all the stuff in it.I've sorted two bags of bits for the charity shop, found one more item to list on ebay at sometime, and thrown loads of paperwork and rubbish out. I've just about managed to find a place for everything else.
Bought a few household bits over the weekend and a bit of a top-up shop but we're still within budgets, so that's fine.
£40 was spent on petrol today , hopefully this tank will last at least 10 days (two weeks would be better but unlikely!). We've got £70 left in the petrol budget though so we're doing ok.

Hi DFSD
The concert was great, thanks. I'm a big music fan; I like most types but particularly classical.
You sound like you had another busy weekend.
Not much happening here either on the moneymaking front. I have a very busy week at work so doubt I'll have chance to earn any extra money. Shame I don't get paid overtime! At least it will be a cheap week as I won't have chance to spend any money.Mortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000

Back at work today
.
I refunded that ebay buyer over the weekend after she finally sorted her act out; wish I'd said no in the first place now as it's a month after it was sold! So, that was £17 out of the account. I relisted the item on Sunday, but no bids yet, just 4 watchers.
I had a little sale on Amazon - £3.99 - so probably only a couple of quid after postage probably. The book I sold last week for £6-odd cost over £4 to post which I was surprised at as it wasn't that big / heavy, so I hardly made any money on it in the end.
I have a couple more things I can shove on ebay, but will wait and try and create a little pile of stuff rather than lost one or two low value items. I have to pay about £6 in ebay fees too this week.
Hope today goes quickly, I'm not in a great mood for work today!
