You are sounding happy - do you love the Christmas season?
Gosh, I am so tired today. And I've just switched the oven on to make my tea. I need to input a MS and deal with a few emails and I think that will be it for me tonight.
My total has sneaked up a little from a MS payment (£13) and a bet (£13). I haven't spent anything today other than on my train fare to work and MS purchase. It's partly why I started MSing - I love shopping and work by the shops, so it is a way of shopping and at least getting my money back for the purchases or coffee shop trips!
I'm wrapping parcels all day on Saturday (for a charity, not myself) so I will be on top form for packaging Ebay sales!

Yes I do love this time of year - more for the run up to Christmas than the actual day itself - although I will admit that I don't feel very Christmassy yet - I'm trying to force it though!
Good stuff with the MS and the bet, wish I could get my head around matched betting but no matter how many time I read the info, I still don't get it and I just know I would end up losing all my money!0 -
I've actually made myself enter a few competitions this morning as I had nothing better to do. I'm on my own tonight as hubby has a Christmas do, so I have decided I will have a night of being online, entering comps and doing the bingo & scratchcards etc. It's about time I got back into the comping as I had some good wins through the short time I was doing it - a spa weekend in Spain and a wii being the best. Also chased up a book win I haven't received yet, apparently it should be sent out after today... :rolleyes:0

50p and 10p on the scratchcards today. Nothing on B.Britain. Decided to play through some of the bonus in my account on Butlins B!ngo and won £20! WOO HOO! :j:j:j This has been withdrawn straight into the bank account, where it'll stay for now. I'd like to pay it off the card, but can't afford it I'm afraid.
Confession time... I have spent a bit more money... I need to stay away from the grabbit board for sure! BUT, it is MSE in a way... I took advantage of the M&S glitch and ordered 10 presents for birthdays next year - if the order goes through, I will have most of our friends birthday gifts bought for next year already! So, that means I have about £10 of 'spending money' left.As it is, even though we've ordered a grocery shop to be delivered this week, we're still under on the shopping budget so there should be a little bit of leeway in the budget there.
I'm off to enter some more comps now...

Well done with the bingo win! Sometimes a girl has to speculate to accumulate and the M&S offer does seem amazing
Not much to report here. Had £10 bingo winnings in the bank today. I noticed the Ebay free listing email so I might try and list a couple of things on Sunday.
I've got a busy day in town tomorrow which should be good fun so I think it's time for a rare early night.
Have a lovely weekend,

bl00dy laptop keeps losing my nice long posts as I type them.:mad::mad:
I'll try again...
Won £20 on the bingo again today!:j Has been withdrawn to the bank account already. I would've liked to pay that off the card but had a nightmare morning and has to pay out £16 as a result (could've been a LOT worse!) which was unavoidable unfortunately, so will stay in the bank and leave me with £14 'spare'.
25p and 10p on scratchcards, no wins from playing through those but I can't be greedy now.
Today will mostly involve washing, cleaning and trying to get warm. I confess to actually having the heating on at the moment as I'm so cold today and can't get warm, but I'm still freezing. I hate wasting money by having the heating on a lot, but today I'm 'cold in my bones' and it's staying on!
The chicken is out of the freezer and defrosted for dinner tonight; it shall be cooked with some 'about to go over if you don't use me today' from the bottom of the fridge to make something yummy. We also have a grocery delivery coming tonight which should come in at around £60. I have paid £2 extra to have it delivered today rather than mid next week, as we have practically run out of fresh fruit and veg and basics like milk, and I don't want to be going out getting top up shops as that's when random things get thrown in the basket and it ends up costing a lot more than budgeted for and we buy stuff we don't need or is not good for us.
We have people coming round for a meal tomorrow night once we get back from our trip out, so I need to get a joint of meat out of the freezer and defrost it for tomorrow, ready to bung in the slow cooker before we leave in the morning.
I have had an email saying on of my M&S orders had been despatched. I got £49 of goods for just under £5! :T A second order hasn't been despatched yet, hopefully it will go through ok, and a third which is mostly books should go through fine as the books were not included in the glitch, they were just at an extremely good price with a couple of discount codes thrown in for good measure, bringing it all in at a third of the price. :T Can't believe how well we're doing with our bargain birthday pressie buying already!
I saw the ebay thing too Chocs, definitey worth doing. Unfortunately I'm still without a camera otherwise I would've listed a few things myself. Good luck with the listing! Have a good day in town too.
Right, off to start the cleaning marathon...
Have a good weekend all

Two loads of washing are done and dried and (nearly) put away; the kitchen's now spotless and I've hoovered through downstairs - upstairs can wait a little longer.
I've also sorted a huge pile of old paperwork and coursework that is now in the bin.
I've also been browsing a few of the diaries, just to keep my DFW ways firmly in the forefront with a mini shopping trip planned for tomorrow!

Feeling a bit blue this evening - so many of our friends are getting on with their lives - starting a family and are on their way to being financially secure, or nearly so - exactly where we want to be, and where I'd thought I'd be by my 30s, but debt and lack of savings is stoping us from doing so. I just can't believe we were so stupid with money in the past to such a degree that it's threatening our future. Sometimes I wonder whether we should just throw caution to the wind and think about having children before the loan is paid off, but the sensible part of me says not to, I just hope it's not too late for us by then.
It's not the cost of preparing for a child that worries me, it's maternity leave and childcare afterwards that I just don't know if we can afford. It's nights like this I wish I had a crystal ball.

Didn't sleep particularly well and woke up early this morning, so I was on the Bingo from 6.30am!
No wins for either of us today. Hubby still hasn't won anything on B!ingo Britain with his £5 a day bonus!
10p & 25p on the scratchcards. Played through the bonus ones with no wins.
Hubby is preparing the meat for the slow cooker so that'll be bunged in just before we go out. Hopefully there'll be leftovers too for hubby's lunch tomorrow, but we've got people coming for dinner so I doubt there will be.
Still no sign on the other 2 M&S orders being despatched yet, I hope they honour them as it will really help us out with gifts for birthdays and a couple of extra for Christmas.
Right, off to get ready for the day. Have a great Sunday everyone. XX
