Argh - just typed a nice long reply to you chocs and lost it! Needless to say, we're having massive problems with our internet at the moment and it's proving very frustrating.:mad::mad: We need to phone Talk Talk but the thought of going through another of those 'have you turned your modem on' calls just makes me want to run and hide!
I was shocked at the scratchcard win too - a few more of those will be most welcome.
Well done on the betting profits and mystery shops, the extra amount you've made this month is incredible, you should feel really pleased with yourself. :T
The market sounds lovely too - just my sort of place. We have one near us, but it lacks 'farmer's' and has more overpriced crafts which are not so good. I am a sucker for foody stuff too, I love nice food, especially homemade chutneys and such.
We had to fill the car up with petrol today - £38 spent there - but we got nectar points as usual. We have about £25 - £30 on there now which we'll going to use towards food for a little New Year's gathering we are planning with some good friends.
I also spent £3.99 on a dish drainer today as our other one broke. Tesco wanted £10 for a wooden one - £10!!!:mad::eek::mad: I thought that was appaling. We went to Sainsbury's this morning and I picked up a stainless steel one for £3.99.
I'm really pleased with the amount I've spent this weekend. Apart from some fresh veg and bits which have come out of the shopping budget, we've only actually spent £8.99 - £5 on hubby's BB deposit (which was covered by our scratchcard win!) and £3.99 on the dish drainer. That's really good considering the number of lovely homeware and diy shops I have visited this weekend. :T
And so to bed...

10p and 25p on the scratchcards today; no wins on bingo yet, but have pre-purchased cards for later.
Quidco has paid the £18-odd into my account today which I have already paid off the credit card.
The Lloyds loan has come out of the bank account today as usual too, so that's another month closer to clearing that one. Cant wait until we start overpaying that loan.
I lost 3lbs this week, but disappointed with myself as I let myself slip a lot towards the end of the week and could've done much better. Onto a better week this week - I've made breakfast and lunch for tomorrow and packed it already, and will plan a healthy dinner shortly too.
A NSD for me today, and tomorrow too. In fact, don't think I need to part with any cash until the weekend.

I just don't understand it - my loan amount has gone UP again for the third month running! I have paid £168.50 as usual again, yet the balance has gone UP by £70.35.
I know it's related to the way interest is charged, but how come it seems to be going up every month???
:mad::mad: At this rate, it'll never get paid off!

Some big spends today, after saying yesterday that I won't be spending for a while!
It's MIL's birthday this month and we are taking her out for a meal, so we have taken out £30 in cash to put away towards that. Also, spent £42 on another present for hubby - I know, I know, I wasn't going to spend any more, but he has been so wonderful and supportive throughout this extremely difficult year and has gone without a lot and cancelled many plans because of stressful times, that I want to treat him. I also spent another £12 on a present which I bought on behalf of my Mum, but she is going to give me the money for that. This leaves me with £61 of 'leftover' cash for the next 2.5 weeks (after petrol and groceries) which is more than ample.
No wins on bingo yesterday; I need to do the scratchcards and Bingo bonus tonight.
There's a lovely piece of lamb in the slow cooker for dinner tonight too - yum!

I haven't checked the Bingo Britain site today yet so not sure if we won last night - I won't hold my breath though!
10p and 25p on the scratchcards last night, I need to do those and the bingo bonuses tonight after work, and also check for surveys.
We spent £4.50 last night on some Christmas music. Was a bit of a bargain for the 77 song album we bought though! So, about £56 left for spends this month.
The other loan payment is due to come out on Monday, so off to update the snowball with this month's payments. Its coming down, albeit slowly, except for the damn Lloyds loan which appears to be going up!:mad::mad:

Hello!
Well I have spent a fortune today. I am going to collect a new laptop this afternoon. To be fair, my existing one is very old and has had a great deal of use. As usual with laptops, the connections at the hinge have gone. I just need it to hold out a few more days whilst I move everything on to the new one. If I move the screen a millimetre, the screen cuts out so I've been really careful not to disturb it!
My monthly challenge total is looking a bit sad now we have started afresh. Had a £10 bingo win and £8.43 Amazon profit on a DVD so far. Need to have a think about what else I can do.
Did a MS this morning, so I'll go and input that which is a start.
Best wishes,

OOOh a shiny new laptop! How exciting! Don't you just love buying such a big purchase like that, and having a squeaky clean desktop with no junk on it and one that starts up in seconds! Happy laptopping...
£18.43 isn't a bad pot so far Chocs, considering we're only on the 2nd day of the month - that's just over £9.20 a day. Has your BB £5 bonus expired yet? I'm not sure how long we've got left on ours. Hubby's only been doing it a little while, but mine must be coming to an end soon.
Do you have anything you can ebay?
Well I've spent a bit too today. I'm never saying 'I don't need to spend anything until the weekend' again! Today I've spent... £40...:o. (Looks less if I write it smaller!). It's not a huge amount I know, but considering I now only have about £20 of 'leftover' money left until payday on the 18th it's a huge chunk of my budget! It was spent on some supplies for our New Year's Eve gathering we're hosting - I figured it best to order some stuff now before all the prices go up just before New Year or Christmas.
BUT I'm determined to make that last £20 last me now!

Yes, can't wait to get the laptop going (didn't have time to sort it out tonight, but have most of Sunday to play with it). Whilst I was driving to collect it I realised that its cost was covered by my November challenge, so that made me feel better
My BB introduction bonus period is over, but some of it was unspent so I still have some tickets. Not that I've won anything the last few days. I think there are more people on there now so it is harder to win and probably needs a change in strategy about when are the quietest times. I hope you get a nice win this week. About half my November money came from that site!
I had a small win on another bingo site today with a free stake and I've also picked up another MS for next week which will be another £10. I'm trying not to Ebay at the moment as I have to work long hours in December and get home late. I usually quite like wrapping and posting the parcels (sad, I know), but I just can't face it when I'm getting in after 9pm and still need to eat. I will have to get round to Ebaying at some point as I want to get rid of some clutter and clothes I shouldn't have bought!
It sounds like you were going to have to spend that £40 at some point in December, so why not today. So your budget for each of the next 15 days is £1.33  good luck!

£1.33! Eeek! Well, it will DEFINITELY be a NSD today, so that gives me a few more pennies a day! :rotfl:I don't plan on spending any money tomorrow or Saturday either, but am going out with hubby on Sunday for light lunch at pizza express with the £30 of 'traded in' clubcard vouchers we have left. I told him we're not putting any more money towards it, but as he pointed out, you can't use them for drinks, so he is going to pay for the drinks and any extras he wants (like dessert!). They do those lower calorie pizzas with the salad in the middle which I shall be trying - yum.
We also going to pop into ikea and pick up some of their gingerbread tree decorations which are about 60p for 10. I have to have those on my tree each year, it's now a must for Christmas. I'll pick some up for my Mum too, as she loves them, they make the house smell wonderful. They fit perfectly within my budget as well!
No wins for us on any bingo last night; 10p & 10p on scratchcards too. I actually managed to complete one survey without being screened out - for 80p though... but it all adds up. I'm only about 40p away from a £5 payout on that one now. Need to check another survey account today too.
Well done on your bingo win and the mystery shopping seems to be going steady too. I know what you mean about ebay, it takes so long to do anything. I might get you to wrap my future ebay parcels for me though, I hate doing that job!
Have a great day
