Some more bingo wins to report! :D (and I need to write it down here so I don't forget to withdraw tomorrow!:o)

Right, nothing on BB bonus yet, but have pre-bought some tickets for tonight.

    25p on TAB scratchard.

Remembered I'd joined Butlins Bingo through Quidco ages ago for their free scratchcard so went back on the site. I had to deposit a minimum of £10 to play and have the free scratchcard, so did that and won 10p on scratchcard. I then played through a couple of games of bingo and won £13.52 :D so withdrew the £10 back out. I then won another £5 but can't withdraw twice in one 24 hour period, so I have to do it tomorrow. Minimum withdrawal is £10 so I've put £15 back in there and will withdraw the £20 tomorrow. After all that, I'm £8.52 better off and I'm able to do the free scratchcard now I have pennies in the balance. Phew. That was long winded! BUT it's another £8.52 off the credit card leaving the balance now at £1208.51 :D
  • No, you don't need to press the claim button, so you can pre-purchase tickets and not watch the bingo. You can distill the excitement down to logging in afterwards to see if you have won. Won't see you there tonight - I've been and gone from BB today and £60 is coming my way...

Good news on Butlins Bingo too.

Thank you for your kind messages. When I read some peoples' stories on here, I feel a bit guilty because I am not in the difficult or unpleasant situation of not being able to pay the bills. I suppose I should really be on the MFW board, but you guys are so nice and supportive, I've taken up residence here.

  • Got up early this morning, so played through the bingo & scratchcards - no wins to report today - 10p & 10p on the scratchcards. Had a £10 bonus instead of £5 on BB - thought it may be because I'd won £5 overnight but no, it was definitely a bonus from somewhere.

  • Well done on the £60 Chocs, that's brilliant! That has to be at least a couple of house bricks towards your new house! :rotfl: :T:T:T Thanks for the info re the pre-purchased cards too, will do that again tomorrow when my new bonus kicks in.

    Have a great day

Withdrew £15 from the butlins bingo site tonight, which I couldn't do last night. Played 50p of bonus and won nothing, so counting on tomorrow to be my lucky day!

Got the day off tomorrow so looking forward to a day around the house.

  • Got a bit confused tonight... Thought my CC balance was now at £1217.03, so I paid off the £17.03 out of the leftover £200 to round it down to a neat £1200... but then realised I'd paid off £8.52 last night from the bingo winnings, so it now actually stands at £1192.48! Never mind, it's a bit extra paid off and getting closer to sub 1K now. :D

2 NSD's in a row now for me now. :D Won't be a NSD tomorrow, as I have to get a few bits in tomorrow, but that will come out of the shopping budget and should be under £10 hopefully.

I've done another survey tonight, finally got round to checking my points on the new survey site and I've got nowhere near as many points as I think I should have. Going to keep an eye on that one and check every time I do a survey for them from now on.

Looking for other ways to make money tonight online, but have so far drawn a blank! Guess I'll just have to be patient and go and do something else for a little while and get off this computer before my eyes turn square.

    Goodnight all

  • I'm up bright and early this morning, had a shower, have put the washing on, cleaned the kitchen, made up the spare bed for our guests tonight, now just got some ironing and hoovering to do then will give the bathrooms a wipe down and the day is mine. :D

Last night I finished labeling and 'pretty-fying' our gift in a jar gifts for Christmas pressies - I'm really pleased with them, they look really good even if I do say so myself! I would be happy to get one as a present so I'm sure others will be.

I was also awake late last night, so did the scratchcards for the day at minutes past midnight! 2 x 10p again. Played through one game on TAB but no wins to report.

Hubby tried to join Bing0 Britain last night, but they kept declining his card for 'age verification purposes!!! No idea why! He sent them an email about it so hopefully will get a response today. I wondered whether it was because we had the same address and maybe it's only one per household or something but they still let him register with the same address?!

Got my £5 bonus this morning and have pre-purchased some cards for late tonight. Played through one this morning but no win.

    On with the housework...

  • No wins on BB yesterday, but have purchased some more cards for tonight. Hubby has also signed up now too and he has purchased some as well. :D 10p and £5 :T on the scratchcards today, so that covers hubby's £5 BB join up deposit.

So far this weekend I've spent £3.99 on a couple of bits for our friend who stayed with us last night and can't eat certain things. I also got £20 cashback at the supermarket, as we were going to go out for something to eat or get a takeaway last night, but our friend very kindly paid for it, so I didn't spend any of it. I shall either get hubby to put it back in the bank, or keep it in my wallet and use it for petrol which we'll need tomorrow.

Today has been a NSD despite walking round the shops. I saw lots of lovely things, but I'd much rather pay off the debts than have a new 'thing' that I don't really need. My attitude towards spending has definitely changed. ;)

I'm extremely tired today. Stayed up very late and only got 3 or 4 hours sleep. Didn't sleep well the night before either; so I'm feeling a bit cranky and blue today. Sure it's only tiredness that's making me feel so crappy today. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

Argh, 2 away from BB £100 jackpot. - no win unfortunately. Tomorrow must be our day!

Still a NSD today, although considering throwing an extra £20 at the credit card considering I took £20 out to spend last night and didn't spend it...

EDIT: Just had a look at the budget again and decided I'm not going to pay any more off the card yet, I'll wait until the end of the month and if I have any left then I'll pay it off.
  • Well done on the scratchcard win; I don't think I've ever got more than 50p! I'm also liking your new signature.

I'm not sure where this weekend has gone. I've been food shopping, done the washing and ironing, did a bit of batch cooking so I have some freezer meals. It sounds a bit better now! Can't help thinking I should still have a day left over .

MSE wise, I have kept my spending down and didn't go too mad with the food shopping. I love food and am easily tempted into buying more than I need. We have a lovely market here which has local farmers' produce and local businesses that make delicious sweet and savoury food so if nothing else, I've eaten well this weekend.

I am about £15 richer from some betting. No exciting bingo wins to report here either. I picked up some MSs for this week which is good.

I decided to go for £15 a day in the December challenge. Everyone has their own version of the rules and mine is basically to count money when it is in my bank account rather than when I earned it. Although half of this month's total comes from bingo winnings :D (which are, sadly, unlikely to recur), I did quite a few MS jobs this month where I get paid next month, so that will help. It is a target, after all, so might as well aim high and see what I can manage. The £670 I have raised this month is a good proportion of my normal wage, so it is definitely worth putting some effort in.

    Best wishes,
