bathgatebuyer wrote: »Hi all - a wee update. Went to the GP on Friday and they have prepared a letter for me to send to both Egg and Sainsburys (well, the FOS in relation to my case against Sainsburys) to confirm that at the time of sale, a pre-existing medical condition would have meant that I was ineligible for cover under those policies.
This is being sent to both parties tomorrow, and will hopefully be of some use and hold some weight in the case.

Perfectly put dreamer as always, and i agree being skint all the time is horrible and I come here to help and have a laugh. xxx
I agree, this is my point, i started a light hearted thread, that lots of people joined in the banter and laughter, it was going fine until Marhsalka posted SPAM and then started to say that debt was no laugin matter and i should tell that to people losing their homes.
Read the thread "can i write off this loan" and share your thoughts...
IT was an un-necessary hi-jacking of an otherwise humourosu thread...
But well put in the first place.
In a yoda voice..Got a good way with words you have.!0 -
Just to make my point here folks.;)
Okay none of us want to get into any squabbles and we all have our own personal views.;)
Its getting rather tense on some forums of late........
We all have our own reasons for why we want to reclaim, okay on this thread its regarding PPI, and we all like to help where and when we can, we are not by all mean experts, but we have been through it by being mis sold and at the same time we learn as we go along, me for one did not have a clue about PPI when I first had this, I just thought it was all part of the credit.........now I know its not and its optional.
But I must say, its a shame to see such threads going down due to disagreements, where it may be time to just agree to disagree.
I think the world of all you folks and since being a poster on here I have loved every single minute of it, even though I registered here in 2007, it was not until maybe approx March of 2008 I started to post, because I read so much of others being ripped off by this PPI lark and also required some help myself, now Marshallka has always been here on the mark of a post, she knows how people feel due having this happening to her, where Marshallka will come in to help all she can on this matter.;)
Marshallka I have to say it as I have to make my point, you have been here from day one for me and for everyone else as well, you have had a lot to deal with also healthwise and family etc, it just goes on, but you never fail to be here for everyone and I am sure everyone who requires this help appreciates it very much, you know yourself and others know what help you have been.......take the success forums for one, now how many thanks have you had for that hun ?;)
You keep it up, and do what your good at on this thread.:T
There have been many winners and mainly down to your support through this and help you've given and I am sure many will agree.
So lets just get on and do the best we can to help our lovely posters/members on here, and Marshallka keep that chin up.;) :A XXXXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi all been catching up on the posts and I have to say I can't believe what is being said.
Everyone has their own opinions for which we should respect, but we still all have to get along otherwise what is the point of being on this forum if its going to be arguments all the time.
We all have debts some higher than others but you also still have to have a sense of humour sometimes.
Put it this way sometimes I wonder where I'm going to get money for milk or bread and it is always a struggle to cope being skint all the time, however I just get on with it because I've got no choice.
I hope this is understood what I'm trying to say and it is not intended to upset anyone on this forum, mearly to put things into perspective here
his post here
I agree, so much nonsense about husbands, medicine, codine, birthdays etc
I just posted back in it...probably wise not to in future.
Hes told me to take a back seat now....
I am actually fed up myself. Last time this happened I know of people that posted privately about him etc but would not post it on here but it does make you wonder where your friends are....
Cheers to those that stuck up for what I myself believe in. I am bitter towards the ones that sold these policies as most are and by the looks of things credit crunched was one of them.
If you listen to him are you being sent on wild goose chase for nothing. How can you trust someone that actually thinks what we are doing is WRONG...
I like a joke myself but some things are no joking matters...
I think of those in the position of losing their homes, their marriages breaking down and their kids having to give up pets to move in some bed and breakfast accomodation. The pensioners that have worked hard all their lifes and then ripped off by some scrawny little insurance salesman. I am sorry if I do not find this amusing dreamer. All I can say is that some cases are harder than others...some have real problems and others THINK they have problems...
This is not a dig at you here dreamer:A . Its just a thought as to why some may not find debt and finances a thing to joke about...0 -
