I did but chose to ignore teh personal attack, i use spell checker most of the time and have done since i was in Uni.

Dyslexic means i put some words back to back, does not mean i am slow.
It was not a personal attack credit crunched.... where is your sense of humour... you had it whilst attacking others.....  It was a mere observation.

I do appreciate what dyslexia is. I also know dyslexia does not make you slow. It was a well meant question and not a personal attack.

Your posts looked different that was all.:lipsrseal

I've had a secured loan with First plus for 4 years now, plus ppi which I wish I never had,. I rang for a settlement today and blow me I owe more than I borrowed still. After reading the forums here, and gaining some understanding, I asked what interest was being charged etc. They calculate under rule 78, thought that only applied to loans under 25k or am I wrong?? and I thought that as of April 2008 all secure loans in uk could only be charged a max 1 months interes ton early repayments. They said that it was because I applied formy loan in the Jan 05 and the new ruling came out in the May 05. I just want to pay the loan off, is there any legal advice out there as I know I'm not on my own with this problem and with the sam e company. Also they as now called 'uk secure lending'.

Can someone please advise me or point me in the right direction, my payments have risen to £378.00 p/mth at 9.5%, I pay more now than I ever have done.

    HELP:eek:
Was this a regulated agreement or unregulated...

I agree, this is my point, i started a light hearted thread, that lots of people joined in the banter and laughter, it was going fine until Marhsalka posted SPAM and then started to say that debt was no laugin matter and i should tell that to people losing their homes.

Read the thread "can i write off this loan" and share your thoughts...

IT was an un-necessary hi-jacking of an otherwise humourosu thread...

But well put in the first place.

In a yoda voice..Got a good way with words you have.!

I have just read yours posts on the thread for the first time and yes a little humour is ok and agree that everone is entitled to their own opinions always, however I do think also that the humour may have went a little to far on the thread.

There was a poster who needed help "headinthesand" and they did not get any. This was a shame as they may well not have come back on looking for the help they needed.

I think their post was tounge in cheek :p

"Please help, I need the money asap, my benefits have been cut down to £4600 a month and I can't afford to buy nappies because beer and fags are so expensive and it's putting me off my cake seeing the kids sitting in their own faeces."

Dreamer, had it not been credit crunched that had started that thread then I too would have found it funny.... i did find it funny but I cannot find credit crunched funny.

Credit crunched is just here to wind people up and if you take a look over his other posts in that he is all pro banks, lenders, anyone that does not claim benefits etc... all of which I agree with to some extent but there are genuine claimers here too. FOS I am sure will see who is and who is not...:D ;)

Its not up to anyone to judge on here...;)

Arguments, what arguments... credit crunched has joined again. The one that posted that it was all us PPI reclaimers that lost him his job. He also posted a mockery thread about unenforceable agreements and also about beneift claimers I note. People being on the sick and not getting up off their bottoms. A post about codine being mentioned over here and he is fed up of people talking about husbands, medicine, birthdays .......

    his post here

I agree, so much nonsense about husbands, medicine, codine, birthdays etc

I just posted back in it...probably wise not to in future.

Hes told me to take a back seat now....

I am actually fed up myself. Last time this happened I know of people that posted privately about him etc but would not post it on here but it does make you wonder where your friends are....

Cheers to those that stuck up for what I myself believe in. I am bitter towards the ones that sold these policies as most are and by the looks of things credit crunched was one of them.

If you listen to him are you being sent on wild goose chase for nothing. How can you trust someone that actually thinks what we are doing is WRONG...

I like a joke myself but some things are no joking matters...

I think of those in the position of losing their homes, their marriages breaking down and their kids having to give up pets to move in some bed and breakfast accomodation. The pensioners that have worked hard all their lifes and then ripped off by some scrawny little insurance salesman. I am sorry if I do not find this amusing dreamer. All I can say is that some cases are harder than others...some have real problems and others THINK they have problems...
This is not a dig at you here dreamer:A . Its just a thought as to why some may not find debt and finances a thing to joke about...:confused:

I know what you mean marshallkaxx

We are in so much debt ourselves, an unbelieve amount and from 07 to lately have been through so much harassment, also oh losing his job, when we just don't know:confused: I've cried and worried, but I just say to myself its out of my control and nothing we can do about it.

We have to be in control of the ppi re-claiming or it will end up controlling us.

You should ingore and take no notice of his posts, just let them go straight over your head, I know sometimes its hard but it is sometimes the best way.
