Hello all, please can someone help me. I took out a loan with RBS which ended May 2003 (so I don't have much time left). I have kept no details of this as it was settled so long ago. I rang RBS and visited the branch but they claim they have no records of me or the loan. I am quite confident I was mis-sold the PPI and would like to reclaim as it was quite a large loan. If anyone has any ideas please can you help?
Many thanks

I have real friends not forum buddies!
We are all friends us regulars on here, you just seem to pop up to cause trouble.
Marshallka is a hundred times the person you are, as for picking on people on benefits you are lower than a worm.
I wish there was somewhere we could report you to & get you banned from this forum.0 -

You can send a SAR (subject access request), this will give you all the information they hold on you including telephone calls. It will cost you £10 and RBS can take upto 40days to send it back to you.
Every letter to send make sure its sent recorded delivery for proof.
I don't have the template letter but I know the others have it.
Once you receive your sar and have the evidence you need there are a further 2 template letters to send to them.
State your address in which the loan was taken out (if different) and if there has been any change of surnames.
RBS should hold your details for 6yrs.:wave:0
