This is PPI and they have admitted it. So I know they have the paperwork.
I will write back and ask for it all as they havent mentioned the FOS yet and then send it to the FOS if need be. I have nothing to lose.

Think I'm getting confused here with bank charges and ppi, don't know why but thought it was about bank charges. oops re-read posts.

When you open a bank account you sign an application form to say you agree and understand the T&Cs, its a contract, thats why unfair contract terms are up in the air at the min.;)

In pinknicos case this is ppi not bank charges, so it would be different and would say that you should get all ppi back, it would also be better to have a copy of the credit agreement

I expect Marshallka is doing her ironing now.......:D , saying that she may have done it yesterday, on the other hand she was on about school uniforms, so she would have need to wash her daughter uniform after school :D;) X

I would give them another letter enclosing proof of your first letter requesting them to cancel the PPI. This needs to be backdated for you perhaps. Don't forget to send this recorded delivery so you have proof of this.;)

Thanks Marshalka, and Di and Dreamer

Have just filled out ombudsman complaint form and attached my copies of correspondence plus A & L replies. I have also written again to A & L with copy of complaint form and my previous letters requesting cancellation of PPI and full refund from being missold.

Now I'm just wondering would it be alright to request a SAR from A & L on top of all this? I am worried that because they are trying to stall me with letters saying thay are still looking into this even after 8 weeks that perhaps they have some information that they can use to prove they didn't missell.

Would it adversely affect my case to request a SAR now? Should I just leave it and wait until they come back with a response? Can you get into trouble with Ombudsman if you've forgotten something about the PPI???

That would depend on what your trying to do...... Credit Card Charges they are quite easy to deal with (even quite quick now)

    Hello

I would of got your SAR from them first. Have you posted you complaint yet?

The thing is you will have to wait 40days for your SAR
