    Hi there.

You may note there are many having complaints with FP, however you state your loan was sold to you by Central Capital, so it would be them you would complain and reclaim from for mis selling the ppi to you.

I know its an extortionate amount and needs putting right.
May I ask when you had taken out this loan hun?

Hi - I already complained to Central Capital about being mis-sold however, my complaint now is around the cancellation - I just want to cancel, have the PPI element removed from the loan and perhaps a new credit agreement set up. Also a partial refund of premiums paid would also be a bonus. Is it not FP who should deal with the cancellation? Sorry, this whole thing is a minefield. I was also wondering as I accepted an amount from Central Capital in full and final settlement does that mean I could go no further with the Ombudsman re the miss-selling complaint?

Cool, hope they have some good news for you.:D
When did the adjudicator say the deadline was for the other side to get back?
He didn't but he received the document they needed and then they would come back with a decision. I just want to know like yesterday....

I am having doubts now about the Firstplus rebate one...  .

We had a massive PPI amount for such a small loan and of only 160 months but who else will see it that way. It covered both for life or so they say but looking at it now it would not have covered me anyway...I did not meet the criterea

Hi, its been a while since I was last on here when reclaiming bank charges for my current account. Now I am in a bit of a pickle and not sure where to go to reclaim PPI for the above accounts.

I have had several accounts with London Scottish (who are now calling themselves Morses Ltd) since 2001 and they are charging me extortionate amounts a month (£80) for a loan which was initially £600 and due to the term I had taken it over in 2006 rose to over £1800 and I dont seem to be able to pay it off. I worked out I should have paid it off by Jan 09 but I still owe £1200?? due to having to reduce my payments (agreement with the agent not on paper) because of changing my mortage provider. IM SOOO SKINT and need much help. I have looked at my policy and £30 a month is a PPI which I dont even remember signing for which means the previous ones I had paid off were of a similar amount. These reduced payments have now gone onto my credict score and am going to get a default, annoyed because it has just took me 6 yrs to repair my credit. How can I sort this???

Also my partner had a loan which was falsely sold by a car company (now gone bust) as finance which it wasnt.......paid off a year ago. Can we get addresses for the above companies to reclaim....do I have a chance???

Thank you all in advance and sorry for waffling

If you accepted from a company full and final then you would not be able to make any more complaints as it is unconditional full and final...if the full and final had other conditions then you would be ok..

Firstplus would definately deal with the rebate and cancellation but the sale would be Central Capital..

To have the PPI removed from the loan would perhaps not reduce your repayments by much and you would probably only get a small rebate too. If this is the case then you can complain about the rebate received to the FOS..

As you took out the loan in 2006 then it would be Firstplus that would have supplied the rebate i think as they used there own insurers through Barclays.

    Arh I see.;)
Right so basically you want to cancel ?

If you believe you were mis sold this hun you have every right to fight this with the broker who arranged this, but you said you have already complained about this.

They should be able to cancel and do what you request, this should not be a problem.

Now there have been some issues regarding the actual rebate, both myself and others here have also been through the financial ombudsman who claims we have to pursue the rebate side of things with the actual insurer, we had all gone through the lender route.
You will find that most insurers were under jurisdiction where you can go to them and if unsuccessful the FOS will be able to deal with this for you.

On your paperwork you should have insurance details, address etc and it will be them you have to write to.;)

I am sure Marshallka will also confirm this with you.

Will have to get back to this one and re-read it but company wise check them out on Companies House, if you google the names in the link will come up for you, then on the site go onto company search, think this may give some ideas of what is what with them.;)

But if any of them you feel you were mis sold I would defo try to reclaim on them.

Check out the above red box "reclaim £1,000's" click on there and some info of ppi mis selling will come up check it out and see if any of it occurs to you.

There is also a template on the mentioned site, you can use this to help you, but add your own reasons. They have 8 weeks to respond.

If you let us know of what you responses you have we can then help you along further on what direction to take from there.

Like I said I will re read your post now, where myself or others will help more.;)

Just edited back in to add the link of companies house.

Any feedback from the adjudicator yet hun ?:D
    Good luck ! x
No not yet.. perhaps a few days then yet..??

I have been looking at the Firstplus issue again and I know I calculated the amounts of the PPI in full so maybe they did overcharge by this full amount that I put in the letter. I want them to prove otherwise now. I was working on the loan and PPI and it should have been just the loan and then added the PPI after...

I just don't know... its driving me mad. I want to learn how they calculated this.

I know that borrowing £17k cost me £35K and that is never right...39 months I know but something is wrong somewhere...my interest was higher than yours but still not right...and the rebate of £94 against it...

Mine was like having an APR of 50% really...

You borrowed £21K and it cost you £23.5K, again too much for 16 months a

Well then you can claim it back as it is not good practice to front load. Am sure Marshallka or Di will give you details of letters and guidelines. Am signing off now so good luck

    Hi guys,

I am filling out stage one reclaim letter and just need some quick advice. I was pregnant at the time I took the loan with frontloaded PPI out from A & L and I would have made the a & l sales person aware of this. PPi doesn't cover preganancy or maternity leave. Can I also use this as a reason why I was mis sold?

2ndly Just reading my PPI t & Cs and it says I can cancel it at anytime and it's discretinary whether they refund me the whole payment. Does this mean it may be easier just to write a letter to cancel PPI and request full refund first before going down the I was mis sold route even though I was?? Just thinking about what is quicker..............:money:
