Very good news.
I agree they should refund before its gets to FOS however there are some poor souls who take their no for an answer thinking they won't get anywhere.
Have a good Xmas
I originally complained when we settled the loan in dec 2006 but was told tough!! we were given 1400 rebate at the time.(just lost my dad so didnt have any fight in me and put it down to experience)
so when I found out off this site to go to the FOS I did - feb 2008
it has now been through 2 ajudicators and an ombudsman -phew!!
ppi = 9652.50
approx ppi payments 5 x 82.00
+ 8%
I used martin calculator to do this and it comes out with approx 12000.00
I will post up correct figure when I do them:beer:still fighting for my money !!!0 -

Time of settlement (months/weeks):39

hi, this my first message, could anyone give me advice on a claim on misold ppi. the company blackhorse personel finance. i have sent first letter, recieved response rejecting claim. sent second letter waiting for response.
they are a part of Lloyds tsb but you go to them when your credit rating not so good rejected by mainstream banks, have higher interest rate they now your situation preying on it, making you believe ppi is compulsary to get a loan. i have had a bad year no work [bicklayer] & have not been able to make payments obviously ppi no good in my case, thats why didnt want it in first place felt it was compulsary. has any one had any deelings with them & any knowledge to speed things up. in real hardship at the moment. looking for advice bought me to this site & knowing now about ppi this company owes me thousands which would keep the wolves from the door including them.
could i go sraight to the FOS to stop them dragging there feet.
help please.
Hi there and welcome to this forum.
We will try to help you all we can.
Right hun as soon as you receive the final response and if its still not resolved then you can take your complaint to the ombudsman.
Please post up as soon as you receive your final response and we will guide you from there, but keep at them, we all tend to get fobbed off with their standard fob off templates.;) Good luck !
Cheers

Be strong and get a court case going...
Its all stressing me out a littleI know I'm on phone to mcol trying to find out what fees I will have to pay
:wave:0 -
Right here it is:
It will cost £210 to put in the claim, then if they file a defence it will go to a hearing and I would be given a date. If they put the defence in I can call the court to ask how much it will cost.
Waiting to get letter tomorrow then will issue a claim. However they might say why do it now and not before?:wave:0
