LOL Marshallka:rotfl: Just as long as you kept nice and calm!! I don't blame you though for getting on to them. Think Daydreamer has an idea by phoning them up 30 times a day till they get fed up of us:-))) I seem to remember Llloyds taking quite a while when I claimed back my bank charges, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised that they will take their time.

Anyway must go and do some jobs before the little one wakes up, thanks for the laughs and advice and will be in touch again v soon hopefully.
    :A
    Good luck...;)

It is all worth it if you truly believe you have been mis-sold. Do not be afraid to take it all the way.

Like I once said "Don't let the big fish think you are a little fish". There intention is to put you off, but don't let it.

The question is not that you are a small person, you are fighting for what has been wrongly done.

    Good luck

    Brilliant avitar Dreamer!

    Hi All,

I rang Alliance & Leicester about not receiveing my cheque yet, and the 28 days were up yesterday and was told that the cheques will be sent out in a couple of weeks:mad:   . I said this wasnt good enough, that would be nearly a 2 month wait (including clearance and posting times) and asked for a supervisor and one called me back within the hour and she has promised me that she is dealing with it right now and that she is requesting the cheque be sent down to her within 2 days and i should get the refund Monday or Tuesday, i said Hopefully, she said Definitly. So fingers crossed. Cant believe its taken so long for them to issue a cheque. Ill keep you posted!!!

    Hello there

In your telephone recordings is there any mention about the PPI being compulsary?

Do you also have in the telephone recordings you telling them that you already have cover and do not require the PPI?

If you believe you do not have all the info then you should really write to them asking for it, state that you have already waited however long for your SAR and they have failed to send all info for which you can complain to the ICO (Information Commission). Give them 7days.

APR= Annual Percentage Rate AIR= Annual Increase Rate (think)

Thanks - The recording states me saying that I have great cover from work and life cover seperate but it all soon went along and she did a sort of hard sale on me, wish I'd taken in what she'd really said to me.
No mention of it being compulsary though but I will listen to it again, all the quotes she gave me had it inclusive.
I'll write to them again about the previous loan and see what comes of it.

    Thanks

Still a hard forceful sale by the sound of things and also she obviously did not take into account the insurance you already had.
