    Hello Di, yes I am really hoping the FSCS get in touch soon. It feels like life is on hold until we know if they think we have a claim.

    To be fair it is only 5/6 months since I first put forms in and the FOS would be a long wait as well. At least if there is money coming the FSCS have nothing to gain from delaying payment unlike the companys!

    Just received an email from the adjudicator about mine:
    Dear Mrs
    It is a manager who decides whether your case should be fast tracked. I passed the case to my manager at the beginning of this month. She works part-time and is not back until Monday so I will not be able to let you know whether it is fast tracked before then. Even fast tracked cases are taking about 3 or 4 weeks before the ombudsman considers them due to the volume of cases the ombudsman has to consider.

  • just got my HSBC letter they have refunded me £3580 im amazed that they actually did it.

    cheers for advising me on this a few months back

    this is a result of three loans starting in 2001 they have given me a break down of all the refund amounts and how much 8% interst was applied

    No-one ever seems to rush when you need money back. But should you owe any thing grt behind with payments for more than a few weeks they continually harass you with phone calls and soon start thretening court action.
    I have 2 PPI claims all being dealt with by FOS could do with a win. I also have 1 PPI claim with FSCS because company gone bankrupt.
    I have claim for bank charges on-hold for 3year

    I recieved this letter today from FOS:

    I wrote to you recently about your complaint against the firm.

    At this stage, I can confirm that we have everything we need from you and the complaint is now waiting to be passed to one of our adjudicators.

    As soon as this happens, the adjudicator will be in touch with you to explain the next steps and to ask for further information that they may need from you.

    If you need to contact us ib the meantime, please phone etc.....

    Sounds good doesn't it? No such luck.... This is my fourth letter stating virtually the same the first was dated August.... I have now had my compliant with the FOS 8 months hopefully this time I may actually get an adjudicator... unless they are going to hang on to it till this company goes bust like my other claim (company) has... lol!
