I have just emailed the FOS consultant/and the casework section on hubby's behalf as well about his 2 with lloyds.

Told them the last time he heard was in September where he was told they would contact him very soon regarding fast tracking, but nothing was ever heard from them afterwards, despite emailing them several times, also on the casework section....... .

Just made them aware again that he is not working, claiming JSA, and the mortgage is only partly covered, and still on the depression meds, and living on an overdraft, which will soon end, we know there are lots worse off than us, but we do not understand if this is the case how mine was moved in quite quick really considering he was only a few weeks behind sending his complaints in......

I know they are very busy and the busiest ever, but sometimes you have to give them a bit of a nudge as well.;)
So did you sort the mortgage out then DI. You never posted back after saying about it. I know you were going to see them a week or two ago. I am glad you have shifted them.

Would it help with ours then as we only pay the interest at the moment and our overdraft is creeping up again and I am on meds too (lifelong and other problems too). Mind you I sent them all these details and also details of the income and expenses and they have not fast tracked us. Perhaps yours was fast tracked cause you are claiming carers allowance. Mind you carers allowance is then seen as income so that would help your "income" situation more... . I think that the fast track system stinks as they should look at household income against payments for the roof over your head.

I have just had to buy another pre payments prescription certificate before I got my prescription this time. They have prescibed more meds for me and BP is not too good at the mo. Perhaps when Lloyds send a final they will listen to this. I have proof of specialist appointments here...the stress is doing me no good. I wish they could be a little more fair in the fast tracking.

Hope you get somewhere with this Di.
How come they cannot fast track it for you
I think as Di and her hubby have seperate claims then they look at her hubby as having the jobseekers allowance as "his own" money as Di gets hers seperate. Unless he claims for Di as well.

    Thanks hun

I really do not know, to be honest mine was dealt with rather quickly on the Credit card ppi, it was moved on to the adjudicator within a few weeks they received my complaint, my hubby sent his in a few weeks after and requested for it ever since, they just seem to be saying
"we will contact you regarding this" but not heard a thing..... .

Mind you, even though mine was dealt with rather quickly, I am not even sure if it were fast tracked, this was not confirmed to me when asked, but because this is now to be moved on to the ombudsman for him to investigate as Lloyds did not agree to uphold this, the adjudicator did actually tell me he would push it on to get it looked into for fast tracking, that was at the beginning of Dec 08, I've heard nothing on it ever since.

I am more concerned about my hubby's really, because he have not had an update since Sept 2008, not at all.......
They confirmed to you that yours was fast tracked. I remember reading you had put it Di in a post... the hold up is Lloyds don't agree and nothing to do with the fast track. I thought my co-op one was until I spoke to the woman after the first adjudicator left and she told me that Co-op made an offer straight away and it had been sitting on his desk for a while whilst he was off sick. Not fast tracked, just co-op playing fair then.

They won't do it for us showergirl either. I am not too well and also we only pay the interest on the mortgage for now cause we can't afford the full repayments just yet. We have had to put another boiler in the house this year and then the fire was condemned and we are creeping into the overdraft again. Its the same for all of us and I do not mind so long as its the same for all. I just wish the fast tracking was a fairer system. I would say we have less coming into our house than some that are fast tracked... it should go on household income as a whole and then what you have to pay against your mortgage, council tax and mortgage insurance etc...;)

Yes hun its sorted on short term only to pay what the insurance covers, but it will add up in the end, but there are charges for this as well, will have to dig out the confirmation letter, and yes I think they do take Carers into account as its means tested then.
Yes when we were paying for the prescriptions they cost an arm and a leg..... , as I have a 6 items on mine, although they do supply it for a few months, but its not fair that you should pay for these anyway, Wales do not pay for these scripts anymore, but what should go for one should go for the other, it all adds up...... .

On other sites, you hear of others in the same situation, some not as bad, some worse and they get lucky to have fast tracking, I do not begrudge this as we all have our own reasons for this but your right hun, they should be a little more fair when it comes to fast tracking, my circumstances are the same as hubby's yet I think its worse for him really due to the depression, this is the bit that confused me......

Yes the letter I received from the adjudicator said he would look onto getting this fast tracked to the ombudsman, not sure if it were fast tracked to start with then.....(to go to the adjudicator)......;)

The JSA is paid to him and they pay a carer premium for me, this is as a couple.

Child tax credits only pay out for Daniel not JSA, so JSA is claimed as a couple.

We do not get full JSA because the deduct so much of this due to me having Carer's so it would work out then if I did not have carer's the same amount, so nothing more really.

I can't get my head around this seperating the two claims for fast tracking reasons. Surely what bills are his are yours as well and you would each have to pay half.

Yes its at £72 a week for us as a couple, the entitlement is approx £94 a week but they reduce this because I have carers allowance.;)
