    Hi Guys,

I got a reply to my first letter on 11th December 2008, i accepted a good will gesture of £700, i received a letter on 23rd December saying that a transfer to my current account was being arranged but no money has materialised. Has anyone had any issues with the length of time it takes to receive the money?? and also can i contact them to find out??

    Cheers Doozer

    Hi Doozer

    Who is this company?

I know these can take time, but if you feel its gone on too long in receiving this, write to them, and tell them you expect to receive the payment due to you within 14 days of the request, or you will have to take this matter further, sometimes that helps.;)

    You certainly can contact them!

Was this done through the Ombudsman or yourself? I know when I got my goodwill gesture through the Ombudsman Service they allow 5 weeks for the money.

I would just ring or write and jog them along abit.

    Well done on your win..;)

Natwest, its been about 4 weeks since i sent the reply accepting the offer, i would have thought 30 days was long enough and was thinking about phoning them to check that there had not been an error!

    Regards

    Hi Di!

Thanks for the "well done", i only sent one letter to natwest and my case was investigated, the offer is half what i could claim back but it was good enough for me!
