Hi Di.
Day off for good behaviour:rotfl::T:mad:0 -
Hi Natalie.
Until it goes to an Adjudicator it can take up to a year. If you contact them you will just be told that you are in the system. It used to be that we were encouraged to contact them anytime. Recently people have been getting very short replies saying basically the more you bother us the longer the claims will take,. What stage are you at.
FOS are asking Tesco PF for further information about the case & when this is received it will be passed to an adjudicator.0 -

OK I see. Well I would ring every couple of weeks to see how they are getting on. Do you have somebodies e mail address that is sometimes convenient, cause you can then keep evidence of your messages and their replies.
Good luck to you and hope it happens quickly.:D:mad:0 -
not much good at this type of thing
We have a virgin Credit card and have been paying payment protection cover since we have had the card. I think I am right in saying we can claim this back as my husband is self employed looking at the policy for unemployment it says you have a contract of emploment which of coarse he doesnot being self employed. It looks like they may pay out if he closes the buisness but not if he is off sick.
Anyway do I claim using the ppi letter of here for loan ppi or is there another letter? Also I dont know exactly how many years we have this card I only have statements for the last 3 years, so how many years can I claim
Thankyou for any help
There may be other reasons too why you were missold
Just take a look at the link here and see what you can add and delete from the template letter. Its always best to do your own from this. There are lots of reason on there for the misselling so pick out the ones that are applicable to yours.
You then write to the firm that actually made the sale of the PPI to you if this is different from the lender and don't forget to send this recorded delivery so you always a proof and dates etc.
After that you have to give them 8 weeks for a full and final response. In this time it is usual to get a response of "sorry we sold this to you fairly" but you then respond to this and reiterate your complaint again. The next time they write they either give you a final response which you would need in order to take this complaint to the FOS or offer to settle.
